Ok, Impulse better late than never... I don't know if you had an intention of a question but here are you 3 cards you've requested.. Im not doing reverse cards because I'm still newbie.
2 of swords - where you on a crossroads? or trying to make a decision? this card is telling me that you've been struggling with some options or decisions but you don't seem to make your mind about which one to pick, having the eyes blindfolded could symbolize you cannot make a decision rationally, and instead you have to rely on your intuition and trust that would be the best option regardless. Also the way she is holding the swords could indicate that this decision or the reason you have been unable to resolve has to be with emotions that you want to keep guarded, but in the long term this could be on your disadvantage...
King of cups - (Again related with emotions are you water sign?) it tells me that you have to rely on your emotions you can control and absorb other's emotions or that you use it as a power that enhance your creativity or to help you getting close to people, but this energy is on benefit of you...
10 of swords - What this is telling me is that you might experience a defeat or a fail of plans, or maybe the situation described in the first card is not as bad as you think, and you are enhancing the importance of it... maybe that you will be betrayed of feel betrayed by some one, but the background of the card indicates that once you experience this situation, you will be victorious because you will realize the situation was a learning experience or for greater good... maybe an opportunity for a new beginning, sort of like when one door closes another one opens...

Started doing Tarot when i was 17 or 18, been some time since i did a reading for anyone. Had a very bad experience with a tainted deck a friend of mine had and it freaks me out now to do readings. *shudder*

Me? Some people believe this some don't but it scard the hell outta me and makes me learry of ever touching cards that are not my own. Which you shouldn't anyways unless it's for a reading and always if the other person offers.
My buddy and i are at his place, there are several of us hanging out, talking about Tarot, Native american sweat lodges, different mythical beliefs etc..
Someone mentions that i do Tarot readings, he says he has a deck if i am interested in them. He then says he isn't sure but i could make up my own mind after i see the cards.
I just shrug and ask if i can see the cards. I am flipping through them, get to about the 3rd one and i felt something tingling, like a crawl across the palm of my hand and try to go up my arm and it was coming from the deck. I, of course, dropped the cards and was almost in hysterics as i have never in my life had anything like that happen. My friend felt so bad, he knew the cards had bad energy and told me the backstory. The person whom had the deck before was not a nice guy and practice very bad things. My friend didn't know wha to do with the deck, he wanted to burn them, i told him to consult a true Taroist and they would advise him, to most liekly try to clean them but in no way should he EVER try to gift them to anyone. I think he ended up getting them cleaned and buried them- not sure.
I slept very little that night.

Another method is to infuse some water in a pitcher with sun or moon energy (pipe nasa sounds of the sun/sounds of the moon through a speaker that can handle big sound with the container of water up close to the speaker) and pour that water over your item to be cleansed (not good for things that could be water damaged). You can also drink the water. This practice is based on vibration/energy/sound that is in all things and how it effects or changes other things' vibration and energy. Check out the water droplet experiments by Japanese Dr. Masaru Emoto for some serious proof on how this works.

Posted by ImpulsvYes! Quartz (clear) is fantastic for that. Quartz draws in pure energy. Also, jet, black obsidian and black tourmaline are good for removing negative energy, and expelling it.
I think if I place my cards over quartz overnight should clean it right?
