Venus in Gemini...why do we lose interest

I did date a gemini man a long time ago, we are still really good friends, I would say we were both pretty sapiosexual. It was just the right amount of fun!

Why can't we keep interests for long, does anyone else feel that way? I sometimes know it is a lack of intellectual stimulation, or I find my thoughts racing from one thing to the next and wanting to discuss a variety of topics, and the person I am seeing will talk endlessly about one topic.
However, at other times, I don't know why I lose interest so fast. One day I will be super in to the person, and the next I can't bring myself to even admit I like them.
Which brings me to my second point, why can't we label anything? Anyone else? I am so wary of labels, if someone even says "do you like so and so?" I will name aspects I like but not the whole person cause...that's a commitment, making a statement that I like the person as a whole.
Ugh! Some of my Sag friends totally get this.
