I do beleive in soul mates and true love. There is someone out there for all of us. The trick is being lucky enough to find that one special person. In most cases, we don't find "the one" and I think it's the reason why more than half of all American marriages end up in divorce...

Finding your soul mate is a journey unto itself-just like destiny and happiness. I also think that, if it means moving literally hundreds to thousands of miles away from home to find them, then so be it.

scorp female here...

Wow sloane, I really liked your answer! I think I have found my soul mate, but I'm not sure. He makes me feel so strange, as if he's sucking all the air out of me. Weird description I know, but that's the best way I can describe it. He looks right through me. Like he knows my secrets. He makes my entire body feel like JELL-O. He makes me into this completely different person--my throught closes up, my head spins and I feel like I'm drowning.

He's a Taurus, btw.

Love to all,

Hahaha, yes, he could be your soul mate!!! I agree with Sloane, i think you magnitise your soul mate towards yourself and vice versa. Yes, they can see completely through you because they bi-pass personality and head straight for the soul.

The big test? The kiss. imagine, you have gone all your life kissing these people and feeling like its not quite 'right'. Suddenly it clicks. If you kiss someone and it feels like its supposed to have all these years then they are your soul mate.

Soul mates relate on a soul level, thats why words cannot explain how you feel about them.

210 and 64, right on! I feel less uncertain now. And the kissing...wow. Yeah. I can honestly that we kissed each other and when we stopped, we both were SHAKING. Yep. I've never experienced that with anyone but this guy. We both sort of giggled, becuase here we are supposedly adults (20 and 21), making each other tremble just from kissing. Pretty good stuff! : )

I have always believed that soul mates exist. I also believe that there are at least two of them out there for every person. Or at least for different phases that your life goes through.

My ex-husband was one. And I still love him and care about him, even though I was the one that ended the marriage. But I also know I cannot get back some feelings that were lost.

I firmly believe I met my true soul mate in a Cancer back in june.He could read into me like no one else ever could. When I could be happy just being in the same room with him reading a book. And when he kissed me or put his arms around me I felt safe(he's almost skinnier then me so that is kind of funny. But the hard part is knowing that we are both going through a lot personally and he needs time apart-plus I live in chicago and him in NY. He wants me to move on, and said that if I lived there it would make things a little easier but I can't pick up and move, but I don't want to move on from him.

for the first time in my life I don't want to be with anyone else, even when I can't be with the person I love. Because usually I would just try to get over them by finding a new one. But I think he wants me too and is scared.

ugh.
