and this lil caveat at the end of the frame is interesting...

Note that the Sun is more "comfortable" in some houses than it is in others. For example, the Sun's energy seeks to distinguish oneself as a separate identity. It feels very much "at home" in the fifth house which is its natural domain. In the twelfth, however, it is not as comfy-cozy! The twelfth house energy attempts to dissolve ego boundaries. The Sun is very personal, while the twelfth house is universal. The Sun represents the individual ego, and the twelfth house represents the collective. As such, the Sun in the twelfth house position is more complicated, both to live with and to interpret, than the Sun in the fifth house.

Mine is House XII, and apparently my matching Ascendant helps me. LOL

Pisces ascendant Pisces

Sun in XII

You have a tendency to be introspective and need some space and seclusion in order to pull up your strength. You may avoid the spotlight, and if you do find yourself in a public role, you tend to hide your true self behind that role! Because your will is directed inwards, you need to find a path for yourself that allows you to "get away from it all" at least some of the time. Honor your need to be alone with yourself, but avoid over-identifying with your inner world to the point that you truly feel alone in a crowd. You shine when you serve others in some way. Your compassion sets you apart from others, but try to work with it rather than let your compassion work against you by reinforcing your own sense of loneliness.

368 Conjunction Sun - Mercury

Because your ego and your mind are aligned, you possess much mental energy. You are always in a position to think about what you want, and in many ways, this is an interruption of the will. You are highly intelligent with a great drive to communicate with other. You invest a lot of pride in your intellectual capacities. You may not always listen as well as you speak, however! You might be too busy thinking about what to say next. But you are very curious and although you enjoy expressing yourself, you usually don't dominate conversations completely. As far as studying or learning goes, you are better off reading the material than listening to a teacher. These traits come from a strong need to take an active role in communications. It is very hard for you to passively listen and absorb information.

Your opinions are usually strong and you are an independent thinker. You tend to be proud of your opinions and thoughts, and might easily get a bruised ego if you are not "heard", if your opinions are pushed aside or ignored, or if your opinions are criticized. You are expressive and possibly a very animated speaker. You are also very witty and others enjoy your playful and sometimes mischievous sense of humor.

Planets in the Houses

Moon in the Houses

Mercury in the Houses

Venus in the Houses

Mars in the Houses

Jupiter in the Houses

Saturn in the Houses

Uranus in the Houses

Neptune in the Houses

Pluto in the Houses

i read up on the detailed explanation for each of my planets. like this one...

Pluto in 6th House
You are a hard worker and can be quite protective or private when it comes to your work output. You are excellent at analysis, but you can also easily become obsessed with finding an answer to problems, perhaps even finding problems that others overlook. You "come alive" when presented with a problem that requires research and analysis. Work can become an obsession for you, and you are able to work almost tirelessly. You might be private or insular when it comes to your work, and you might also feel overly attached to what you do even to the point of paranoia. Fear of criticism might run high when it comes to your work output. Directing your own work or working for yourself may be the best route for you to take, as you can easily resent others controlling your schedule and the work that you do. You are likely very interested in areas of health and self-improvement, as well as explorations of the mind-body connection, and you instinctively seek alternative therapies for healing. Some of you are excellent researchers in these areas.

You get off to a fast start in life. You expect to be good at what you do. You see competency as primarily a matter of experience, and you set out to gather a broad understanding of people, your environment and life in your early years. The natural lines of growth in life show that you concentrate on communication and learning as your self-picture develops.

The whole alternative reading was 100% true.

My moon is in the 4th House so ...

Moon in the 4th House

You long for a sense of true belonging, but you may be quite restless in your search. You might change residence frequently, or simply feel the need to make many changes in your home. Moving frequently may be a healthy thing if it keeps you emotionally stimulated, but if you find that you do so on whims and later regret the changes, you might want to treat it as a symptom of emotional unrest--as a sign that you are in a constant search for the perfect mood and setting, when in fact a feeling of belonging should be worked on from the inside out, not the outside in! Some of you might remain rather immature on an emotional level, never wanting to truly grow up and take care of yourself. Attachments to your past, traditions, and family are strong.

Ok ... the whole original reading is completely and eerily true ... mkay :/

if you do a birthtime chart - http://astro.cafeastrology.com/cgi-bin/astro/natal<BR>
it will tell you what house your planets is in. like Sun in IV -- house 4

or if you look at the actual chart, you'll see roman numerals in and just look for each planets placement within it.

Alright, I had my chart posted in my profile for a while but I took it down.

yeah, i won't post my chart because there's one person on here that's circling the cuckoo's nest and i don't want her to know me like that.

i think most all house placements are good. of course it's best if the planet occupies the house that owns it but apparently, the 12th house is loony bin.

Oh yes, I know what you mean, actually that's why I took mine down. We have a bit in common.

Okay, tubby... so I read them all for me, and I'm almost creeped out. Every section for every House was spot-on, save a line or two here or there - and usually that contradiction was explained elsewhere due to another configuration, or because it was something I worked on and changed as I grew older. Read together, one by one, it paints an eerily accurate picture of the very complex woman that is ME.. like reading my friggin' diary! lol

i know right! seriously, everyone should take the time to read it for all of your planet-house combinations. you might be surprised because i was.

for me, the planets that were ill-placed, the issues associated with those planets, directly correlate to my life in some way...past or present. and as nefer said, if there was a contradiction, something that didn't fit, it was explained by examining another planet.

like, both mars and venus are in the 12th house. mars and venus oppose one another. so one description is the antithesis of the other and yet, both are me.

the more i learn about each individual thing within my chart, it all seems to make sense...to the point that it's beyond coincidence. not ready to start an astro-coven yet but eh, maybe one day.

Sun in the 12th House:

Alternate Interpretation: Some view this placement as the result of a misuse of power in past lives, because you are unduly hard on yourself. Your over-active mind is impressionable. You may become a square peg in a round hole if you wear the mask of others as your own. You require periods of seclusion for rest and self-examination, because you question why "no-one" understands you. If you seek counseling, you may become a counselor to help others avoid the pain of your experiences. You, too, are deserving. Acknowledge that if you are your own worst enemy, you can be your own best friend. -- Interpretation from the Spirit Success report.

11th house for me.

In general, this is a favorable position. Throughout your life you will receive assistance from persons occupying superior positions in life. After middle age there are strong possibilities that you will gain in reputation and esteem through relationships with people of prominence. Destiny may grant you sufficient strength of character and even opportunities to carry out your wishes to their utmost. Spiritually, you seem to have a loyal disposition and you are straightforward and honestly oriented. You're very well aware, however, of a sense of superiority and dignity.

Sounds alright!
