Posted by BG2Interesting. Since your Mercury is clockwise from the Sun, he would deem it "Promethean". This is a rare placement because your Mercury is retrograde (he says Promethean-retrograde Mercury occurs in roughly 10% of charts).

Finding your oriental planet is easy. You simply locate the planet immediately after the Sun when you count clockwise. So, if your Sun is 17 degrees Leo and your Moon is 2 degrees Leo, then the Moon is your guiding planet, or if your Sun is 27 degrees Aquarius and the next planet when you count clockwise is Jupiter at 18 degrees Capricorn, then Jupiter is your guiding planet.
Just find your Sun and go in a clockwise direction until you hit another planet. If your Sun is conjunct another a planet, then check if it has the higher or lower degree. If it has the higher degree, then it's conjunct your guiding planet, if not, then count clockwise until you hit another.
