Which gender takes astrology most seriously?

The only reason I ask is cos there's a fair number of guys on here and I always considered Astrology to be a more 'feminine' thing. Don't mean to stereotype or sound sexist and I know it was men who first started studying the stars many centuries ago. I'm just wondering how seriously guys take it, seeing as their naturally supposed to be more logical then females.

Because my mother takes astrology seriously, and she is a woman. However, she is careful to avoid overgeneralization.

Yea but I think it was more from an Astronomical study as opposed to Astrological. When it comes to 'feelings' and the like, guys will GENERALLY not put as much intuitive thought into them, nor do guys tend to 'read between the lines' as women intuitively do, therefore I consider guys to be far more logical than girls, however there are exceptions.

Care to explain more, I'm not sure I follow. Only cos if you look up people on here who are discussing compatibility traits a lot them tend to be guys too. More women but there a lot of guys.

I think that trying to make a decision on which gender is more serious based around this site, which 99% of the population talks about relationship issues, talks about how badly they are treated in a relationship, and usually only mentions their sign, and his/her sign once prodded .... is pretty absurd and extremely illogical.

How can a person form this decision around a forum where 99% of the conversation is about relationship troubles, with little interest about astrology? Do you even realize this, is my question !!! Probably not because the question was asked, along with an assessment, based aroudn this site.

Does that ^^^^^^ actually sound like people seriously interested in astrology to you Oceania?

If you want an answer to this question, then you would first have to be logical enough to fully comprehend what the word "serious" means.

If people on here had relationship troubles 24/7, surely they'd look at counselling, or leaving their partner, as opposed to searching thru Astrology forums for answers. I was merely asking which gender reads more into it than the other, not based on relation problems etc.

I don't know. A lot of guys freak out when they find out I'm a Gemini and say, "You're crazy!" So they obviously know something about sun signs lol.

I think girls take it to another level though, trying to figure out if they're compatible. Women, in general, (I believe) have a higher tendency to read things related to relationships and love than men do, which makes astrology/compatibility fall into that category.
