Why does a Venus in Virgo want to stay friends?

been talking to this guy for 6 months, meet in person couple of times due to the 8 hour drive apart.

we fell in love with each other. (i admitted my feelings last week, and he said he has feelings for me also).

yet ihe said its "unrealistic" to date someone who lives in a diff country (8 hour drive apart) yet im willing to move one day...

he wants us to stay friends because he doesnt want us to hurt eachother and lose eachother.

i declined and we had a fight....two days later we reconnect. saying he really wants us to be friends.

i gave in and agreed, just because i have feelings for him and so does he.



that being said.

Why does he want to keep me around? i personally just cut people off and move on, and after the fight i was in shock he wants us to be friends still after the stuff i said and did lol.

why would you think he wants us to stay in touch, and see each other here and there. (and he doesnt know whats next lol) his exact words lol.



hope for one day to be together? is he scared now and needs more time?

If you care for someone, why cut off the connection? Love doesnt always have to be acted upon romantically. If communicating with the person makes you happy, they make you laugh or stimulate your mind, comfort you in some way, etc., I dont understand why you would turn down the friendship. If its love like you say, not only could the friendship be great, but it may become romantic if circumstances one day permit.

he's scared of losing you (in general), not ready to let you go. however, he doesnt see it working out because he doesnt seem to be okay with ldr. relationships take two people to work

so to him being friends was the most realistic decision. i would say move on, no matter how hard it might be

yah his scared of losing me, he told me that.

i still cant get my head wrapped around how he doesnt find LDR realistic, especially because we met online and talked before meeting in person. he knew where i lived.

venus in virgo are a headache but i love him lol

maybe he just needs more time? So i decided to go with the flow as friends. especially because i know he has feelings for me because he told me so.

who knows what the future holds. if its mean to be, it will happen 🙂

i did ask him, he kept beating around the bush.

It's weird to cut off a person just cuz they don't give u what u want.

Ego problems

nothing to do with ego, i just cant see the man i love move on to someone els. its torturer

I like to stay friends too. Its probably selfish and reassuring on my part... if I'm honest.
