cancer man and love. HELP PLS

I am in a big dilemma and seekin advise. I know a cancer man from one and half year. Initially he tried to propose me and I ignored him. After few meet and due to his care and love, feelin developed in my heart. I propose him and he simply refused everytime giving different reasons. During my last proposal he tell me that he is in relation from last 3 years. And if show me photos of his gf and allow me to talk to he's over phone.
After this I keep distance with him and minimise communication. But he again came back with all love and care. He don't give me any gift, but fulfill my all wishes. When I m in trouble or seek he takes care a lot. One day I just tell that I wanna fly and he was ready with two tickets of flights !!!!
when I tell this is very expensive, he replied that its only for near and dear friend!!I can see that feeling in his eyes!
He don't wake up early, but when I tell I want to go for ride early in morning he was ready outside my home at 4.30am!!
He always ask me to take dinner with him or find ways to spent time together!

I also noticed that he feel jelos when I talk sweetly with other guys. Also he shares lots of his childhood memories or problems with me seeking help.

I am not able to understand if he is in relationship why he is doing so much for me— What shall be my stand,,, shall I wait for him to ask for proposal or he is just flirting with me—

He knows that you are into him and he seems to care for you in some way. Cancers do anything for people they care about, even if it's just a friend. I can't tell you if he's ready to propose or anything like that, but if you're not getting what you want out of the relationship, you need to pull back from him until you do. He can be jealous all he wants, but until he shows you that you're in a mutually exclusive relationship, the jealousy is irrelevant. Right now he can lock you down without even giving you a commitment just by doing nice things for you.
There are a few things you can do, but it's up to you. Don't get into a competition with his "girlfriend" whoever she is. You can let him know what you want out of a relationship, but don't expect him to come running for you right away. You can tell him you feel uncomfortable spending time with him knowing he has a girlfriend, and then pull back (or take a vacation or something). He needs to know that you really do feel that way and that you're not trying to manipulate him.
Whatever happens, you want to know the TRUTH first and then deal with whatever comes after that. If he does have a girlfriend, it's not good for you to try to "steal" him away. You want him to come to you on his own.

Aquarius diva thank you very much for your advise. I don't want to steal him from his girlfriend unless he understand and accept the mutual feelin.

I will surely pull out and will wait for the truth to uncover.

i'm confused. are you going on vacation with a guy that has a girlfriend? why would you do that?! does he talk about his girlfriend to you? oh no, this sounds shady...

Leo28, this guy has a girlfriend and is cheating on her with you. Why would you try to turn trash into a prize? Why would he value a woman who will except this type of behavior from him, which he knows is wrong.? He wants his cake and to eat it too. Stop giving him your cake!

i agree with this 150% !!! i don't understand cheating AT ALL. i'm sorry, but cheating is the worst and he has to suck!!! if he could do it to his girlfriend, he could do it to you too.

I was living in a fairytale and was expecting some miracle to happen. Anyways will try to move forward with these good as well as bad memories.

Leo28. i'm happy to hear that you did not go on vacation with him so that you have fewer memories to mourn over because, sadly, when you break up with someone it's like a death, a death of the relationship and you have a period of mourning because the relationship is no longer alive...

oh, i can relate to wanting to live in a fantasy world and forgiving behavior and overlooking things so that you can have the end result - a fairytale happy ending, but you shouldn't have to compromise your morals to get that. i understand why you were encouraging him, everyone wants to be loved and i'm sure that is why you were spending time with him. i don't think you would have been doing what you were doing with him unless you did want to marry him. you didn't have to tell me that, i pretty much picked that up just based on what you were allowing yourself to do with a taken man, but your feelings and their strength, i'm very sad for you... very, very sad that you won't get your happy ending with someone you loved so much. but, as an eternal optimist, i do feel I should add that you ending things with him might make him realize how much he has truly lost. the break might be what he needs to end things with his girlfriend and come to you as a free man ready to fully commit, if you can overlook his past. i, for one, would have a hard time with that, but everyone is different, and you might be able to forgive and forget his past transgressions...

after reading my prior post to you i felt like i was being really harsh on you, but that is not what i was going for. i was just trying to give an objective viewpoint becuase that was truly how i felt and i want to help you. i don't want you to suffer any more needless pain over this man. it hurts my heart just to hear about cheating, men or women, because it is such a selfish act and cowardly at that. i really do wish you all the best Leo28!! 🙂

But as a big surprise his behaviour has changed a lot!! He is more caring, decent and trying to keep contact with me almost everyday through phone or sms or due to some reason. On my birthday he gave me a very expensive gift. I accept it as I don't want to hurt him but I don't know I did right or wrong, coz its too costly—? When I ask why such expensive gift for me?? He replied it is for a special friend!!!

Also he is expectig his birthday gift from me.

Do you think he has any feeling for me!!! Also I came to know that he is having problem with his gf.

Still I am maintaining a good distance in this friendship, which I want to turn in long term relation. Also note that I have not done any effort against his relationship with gf or never been in competition with her.
