Cancer Men - Help Needed!

I am a taurus lady and have met a Cancer male that i am interested in. I met him at a family party where we exchanged numbers. We spoke frequently over the phone for about 4 months before meeting up (as i live in another state). During these conversations we really vibed with one another and even though he often seemed shy, i was able to bring him out of his shell. Anyway I recently travelled back to the same state and we met up and had what i thought was a great time. We chilled, laughed, talked and had great sex!!! I was there for two weeks and for the first week he bombarded me with calls for the first three days and took me out regularly, then he disappeared for four days, then called me again, we met up a couple more times and then he dissappeared again!!!

I am due to be moving back to the same state as him in a couple of months and he tells me he can't wait and that he is really missing me. My problem is that during all of this time, we seem to have two good weeks where he calls me repeatedly and then two weeks where he does not accept my calls and doesn't seem to want to speak to me (during these times he will text me goodmorning or goodnight via my mobile). It just seems like he forgets about me and then remembers again. When i ask him about it, he will avoid me for a while and i never get a direct answer, he will just say that he is going through some issues but that we are still cool. I want to believe him but at the same time my taurean nature requires a bit more security. Is he really interested or just playing games?

Please help!

this is a peculiar way in which a cancerian acts at times... probably you did somethin or said somethin or didnt said somethin which he expecting...or anythin u did hurt him...n he went into thye shell but then he analysed n analysed himself by constant mental acticvity n realised that he needs u very badly... n called u without expressin any of his heart...but somethin I can asure u that u were always on his mind...n when he is not callin u he is thinkin bout u...probably he is insecure n trying to capture ur heart again n again in his own peculiar crabby ways...I think u shld give him some more attention...why dont u bombard him with ur calls this time...he wld juz luv it...
cancerians crave fr attention of their loved ones...I think u shld try to understand him a bit more so that he can naked his soul in front of u every time he needs to...

but do remember if he is a cusp with gemini he might still be confused bout his feelings fr u...in that case keep him interested be talking him frequently on phone but fr short durations...no-no to long talks....he still luves u but as usual confused

Thank u Neo. Your advice was very helpful but i think its all gone wrong again.....this week has been his "stay away from me" week, so i decided to reply to his usual "good morning" text by sending a message saying "i miss u, can we talk?"....he replied "NOT YET"!!!!

OUCH!!!! - did that hurt...and as us taureans don't really deal with hurt that well, i'm caught between walking away or calling him to find out "who the hell he thinks he is" and knocking him out!!! (which i know will not get me anywhere). I mean what the hell is his problem and if he's not interested in me anymore why doesn't he just let me know? With all of that said, i still can't help loving him...am i a dumbass or what?

i just recently got out of a relationship with a cancer. i dealt with "on again, off again" for six months. everytime he wouldnt talk to me i felt as if i did something wrong. then, when he would call and we would see each other it was as if he never blew me off and i wasnt allowed to question why he was being distant. well, it turns out that i never did anything wrong because i was just being me but he didnt like that. i was suppose to act the way he wanted me to act and when i didnt he wasnt blowing me off because he was upset and needed time to think...it was because he was "smashing" (his words) other girls. but my cancer was a very immature "kid." he would call everyone kid. its still echos in my head and drives me crazy. when he would get mad he would say, "listen kid, i dont have time to deal with you." back to my point-your cancer may be very different from mine and he may have a legitimate reason for acting like an @ $ $ . im man bashing right now!!!

ill try 2 be insightful...

the next time you see him make your intentions clear. tell him that it hurts your feelings and leaves you feeling insecure when he blows you off. if he respects you he will be honest with you.

dont shower ur luv but a hint of it wld do everythin fr keepin him interested in frever....be a bit unavailable so that he may also feel insecure...u will notice he will start playin his crabby games..try this

My point exactly LilLibra! Why do we need to play games? My Cancer is the first one to say that we should "keep it real" and that i should "get it off my chest" but then when i do, he runs and hides! HELLO!!!! Am i missing something?

Well thank you Neo and LilLibra for your advice but unfortunately I decided to take things into my own hands this weekend and went charging in there like the typical BULL that i am!!!...i basically told him that he was hurting me and that he was an ass for doing so, to which he replied "oh, i'm an ass now? wow!"... this only pissed me off more, i told him he was insensitive and that we shouldn't even bother. He got mad said he would call me back later and yeah.....I'M STILL WAITING!!!! Guess thats the end of that!!!

(u know the sad thing is...i still can't help wanting to call him back and apologise, i'm actually feeling sorry for him!!!)

hes a cancer... he wants to talk to you.. hes thinking about you and wishing that he didnt do ever he did to screw things up with you. just call him back and apologize, say youre sry for being so harsh and that you wanna try again. he will come around. trust me he has not forgot about you. i bet hes obssessed and depressed and missing you this very minute. if he doesntwant to forgive tell him that your offer is always open, he may be to shy to call back and forgive so if he dont call within a couple weeks call him.. ask whats up and tell him youve been waiting on him to call.
