How do you get a cancer man to let go?

This is somewhat ironic and I'm not really bieng serious here but...maybe to get rid of him you need to start paying him loads of attention cos that's what seems to make mine back away!!

Sounds like you just need to be harsh with this guy. An angry tone of voice should do it. Just tell him that it's over and you have moved on. Don't apologize for anything. If you need to, tell him that your seeing someone else. Be cruel if you have to. Some people just don't get it.

this guy sounds like the real cling-on!!! I think that you will have hard time getting rid of him as long as you give him even a little bit of attention, he will hang on to it. Never ending game of cat and mouse...

i agree, you're going to have to be a bit cruel about it. and whatever you do, when you say your final goodbye, don't reply to any of his attempts to contact you.

I just met a cancerian that said that she is having problems getting rid of her cancerian boyfriend. she broke it off 3 months ago and he keeps emailing and saying that she left things in his house and all these excuses to come there or just to meet him and talk about things on his mind.

i asked what she is doing about this. she said the only way to get rid of a cancerian is complete ignorance of them...fiddlesticks may be absolutely right🙂

that's a little messed up. with the guy holding on like that, he must have really thought you two had something good. something like this is never easy to get over, but don't go make things harder for the dude. tell him straight up what's going on. better yet, write a letter so he can read it again and again. you can be stern and get your point across w/out being a complete sneaky bitch about it. i'd have dropped you like an old tire --quick too. have fun with florida though=]

Why are you so afraid of "hurting his feelings"? He hurt yours, didn't he?, by sleeping with you and then saying he wasn't ready for a commitment...How much more does this guy have to disrespect you before you are ready to walk away...

Here's my definition of a Cancer/Scorpio break-up: ignore him when you see him in the grocery store...if he calls you from hospital ascertain that he's really okay, then end the conversation (this is taken from real life....one of the ways my Cancer ex tried to reel me in)...no more talking, no more explaining, no more anything...

When are *you*, your feelings, your life, your every moment, going to be more important than his feelings? Until that happens, you will not have the quality life you deserve...
