How would a cancer man react to this?

I'm sorry if this post makes anyone uncomfortable, but I have to ask.

I'm currently fuck buddies with a cancer man, and I've decided that I want more than that. And I'm not going to settle for anything less.

So I'm going to tell him that I don't think its a good idea anymore.

I don't think he'd be that bothered about it, as I don't think its something he's really keen on or anything.
I think he just said yes to begin with because well.. Free sex.
But I know me, and I know even if I wasnt that keen on it, it would still drive me crazy wanting to know why that person doesn't want me anymore, and what I did wrong etc.

So I'm wondering how a cancer man would react.
Should I expect anger, confusion, acceptance or just "yeah okay".

He probably wants more too cuz cancers can get easy sex and he should probably already feel that you want more. Go for it

He does get easy sex.
He's quite attractive and picks up really easy.
We've only had sex once since I proposed being "treetrunk" buddies.

He does know that I want more than that.
And he made it quite obvious that he doesn't want more than that.

I feel like I was too easy when it came to him.
So I'm secretly hoping that by cancelling being "treetrunk buddies" he'll be very bothered about it, and I guess just jealous and "possessive" as cancers tend to get.
And that he'll realise that I'm actually quite wonderful, and ask me out on a date.

If not, then at least I get to walk away with my pride

Yea you could take a crack at it it might work. Remember you asked to be fwb so that's why he treats you like one. Cancers are good at organizing their emotions and their relationships. They can be as loving or as hateful as you want them to be.

Ive seen alot of posts where they say cancers are quick to jump into a relationship.
But I know for myself if I enjoy the sex , sometimes that is ALL it is.
I had a sex thing with someone and they wanted more. it pushed me away.
Depends on where he is.
