kindly help me

i am virgo and i hav cancer friend. we know each other frommore than 5 years but we became freinds from last 5 months.. we daily chat with each other and i got very good understanding of him. even i told him many things about his personality about his liking and i donot know how this happened with me. he was surprised that how i knew him so much inthis short period of 5 months. he inspired from me just because of this and he raised his hand for friendship with me and i accpeted him my friend. then he started taking interest in me and i observed this also.. indirectly he showed his love and then he openly talked about his fears that he has fear that he may not fall in love with me. whenever i talk about any other guy infront of him he get jealous and even once he told me that i get jealous when u discuss other guys.
i discussed abt my one of classfellows infront of him that he is interested in me etc and asked suggestion from him , he didnt speak too much just said : if u feel good then get marry him , but later on i told my friend that i m not interested in my class fellow and have refused him so he will never contact me again..
mt friend used to share his personal things with me and told me about his past love but that girl didn't accept him, then he started cigaratte and too years he kept this habit but then he left it. i asked him is he still interested in her, he said no i dont wanna see her and not interested at all now.

but about few days before he suddenly changed his attuitude with me and showed his fear he said that he ia afraid of feeling and afraid that same not happen with him again as that girl did...he was much afraid and he said now we are not friend and i will just keep a formal communication with you.. i made him sure please donot say this, i expose my feelings to him that yeah me too like him and assured him that donot think negative.. think positive. she was she and how u can say that same will happen again as me interested also.he said i am afraid from future..i said why u are he just said that i wanna control these feelings so i dont wanna married.

whats this all? why he has changed all of sudden whilst he was interested in me and why he is afraid even i hav said him that i am interested and it will be positive.

please help me out. i have become mad by weeping .i have been addicted of him, i donot wanna lose him and not this friendship. pleaseeeeeee tell me how to bring him back?
