Odd occurence of air

More often than not the person im crazy about is very cool and calm and the person I have no feelings for is keeping daily contact and almost suffocating me. This has been a realization for quite some time and not sure why this tends to happen with air signs. (I have very little air in my chart)

Is this typical for the rest of you Cancers?

Are you guys more open and friendly around guys that aren't your type?
Do you become shy and aloof around guys that you are attracted to?

I generally close myself off cause i become very vulnerable but currently im pretty open with how I am and communicate with whoever Im interested in atm.

With the gem atm im more aloof. I do not give off the : I am interested vibe:. But I am friendly with men in general. Shier with the ones I like tho. Typical cancer I think.

I think this is a problem with many cancers. In the past I clam right up around somebody I like. the trick we have to learn I think is to be confident and be ourselves 100% of the time. besides if somebody knows how you really are and then notices you close up around certain people its only a matter of time before they call you on it.

I think this is a human problem.Especially when we have not reached a certain level of maturity : we just want to go for what seems harder to get.I am not saying that you do not have a point but it seems like people in general tend to not like someone that is too "needy" with them or too "nice", we want to have a harder time with the others.

This is too true. If I really, really like someone, no one would ever figure it out. I am always scared to death of anyone finding out about my true feelings including the said person. I come across indifferent and emotionless towards the person when inside I am feeling the total opposite.

Being confident around some you really like is easier said than done, especially for us cancers who open up only when weare very comfortable.
