Venus signs

Supposedly your venus sign determines what sort of person you are attracted to. My venus is in Gemini and I don't find it to be fairly accurate. I go more with my sun sign. Do you think the sun sign or the venus sign determines what qualities you find attractive in a person? Which is more dominant or is it a mix of both?

Venus in Aries. Physically, I seem to be attracted to Aries men. Sometimes, even the idea of who they are...bold, upfront, etc. But, I know that I would not get along with most of them, and in the end, Aries supposed traits would cause me more frustration than anything. So, basically, Aries are nice to look at, but not what I'd consider for long term, based on the generalized characteristics. That isn't saying I wouldn't date one, just..it probably wouldn't go very well if they had the key characteristics of Aries.

Mars in Cancer. Ehhh...some cancer men are okay, no doubt, and I could probably get along with them fairly well, but still not really my cup of tea. I'll just leave it at that, because, honestly, I'm not really interested in them and don't care to talk about them, much.

I honestly think moon plays a big part in my love interests. I'm always attracted/attracting scorpio moons or people who have other water or earth moons. At least this is what I've come to conclude so far.

I was always attracted to Pisces Sun in the past, and also noticed a trend to likes/interests in film stars energy.
although, they always had strong MARS energy though/usually stelliums, not just one mars placement, more like 3-4 planets. Now i realize it's because Venus is hugely my top energy chart.

i have both venus and mars in leo.
I have noticed this, but I seem to attract Libras a lot. I don't know why!
Anyway, I'm actually attracted to Aquas, Scorpios and Leos the most. The Capricorns are somewhere in there too.

I also have venus in Gemini. It describes me pretty well. but I dont think it says we want gemini's. Ive never been with a gemini and I've never really felt an urge to be with one.

i have venus in gemini and its pretty much true. hard for me to settle down with someone seriously and be committed.i was attracted to a gemini once..its still hard to shake off!:/ never met another gemini after that.

venus in Cancer , mars in Taurus and at this stage I cannot pinpoint a sign that I am exclusively attracted to.I get along with tauruses sure but I have had some chemistry with geminis and aries aswell so I am not sure about this theory.

Venus and Mars in Leo...description is pretty accurate for me. I've never been attracted to Leos...but I do need someone a little more outgoing then I am. I mostly attract double water peeps (sun and moon in water)

I have venus in leo and mars in cancimini.

I am never attracted to leo's enough to develop feelings but I do place some worth on an aristocracy of bearing and a good amount of confidence, admittedly.

I am very attracted to the personalities of cancerians and geminis.

I'm usually very attracted to people with lots of libra and sagittarius in their chart, mainly as a sun/ moon combination.

I'm also usually attracted to people with air mars signs and feel that that's because of my air moon. I have this theory that people are generally attracted to others who's mars signs are in the same element as their moon, especially if it's the fixed to their cardinal or vice versa (either way for the mutables).

I remember reading on astro sometime ago that Venus is the pulling power and Mars is the force of assertiveness. Thus, in a traditional setting, a man is drawn to the pulling power of the woman whom he pursues and the woman is impressed by a man's force of assertiveness.

So, a man falls for his Venus and a woman falls for her Mars.

That makes sense. My mars is in Cancer also. That might explain why I am always attracted to other Cancers and water signs.

My Venus is in Aries and I absolutely am not attracted to them at all. They drive me nuts!

now i have tlaked to a lot a of men, but never had a connection like i did with this guy...
it felt like an energy that almost made me sick to my stomach...made it very uncomfortable to be around him, so i would always distance myself...

Well my venus is in Cancer. And, with all the cancer loving and stuff... I would love a relationship like that! Lol. With someone who can care on the same level as me.

I have venus/mars in leo. For some reason I am always attracting or running into Leos! And physically I find a lot of them attractive, but not enough to want anything to do with them romantically. However, I tend to run into Geminis & Libras the most and there is always some sort of mutual attraction! Yet I've only had relationships with 2 geminis and those didn't go too well.. and I find most geminis condescending and libras too flighty. I also ALWAYS meet sag moons!! I don't really understand why though, I'm still trying to make sense of all of this lol. All in all, I suppose I meet people with a lot of air and/or some sag in them.

I'm a scorpio moon but I've never met (that I know of) or been attracted to any scorpio venus/mars folks.

My venus is in taurus, mar in cancer. At first meeting taurus im attracted too but not for long but i meet a lot of them. Dont meet a lot of cancers

Venus in Gemini fits somewhat for me.
I think some placements and aspects temper that for me in terms of flitting around.
But I do have to have that mental connection for things to work.

My Venus is in Aquarius; a lot holds true. I dislike drama ; and confrontation; however I've learned to be diplomatic and instead walking away leaving the other person hanging I will discuss the matter at hand.

I also love intellectual stimulation; I love others who can hold a conversation of sorts, how ever I'm very much in to the arts and music, the unknown, I like anime so for me is all about good conversation; as well as deep rooted conversations.

I do have an easy going personality. As I read about my Venus in Aqua a lot of it holds true to how I am. The negs, thankfully I'm beginning to work through and be more diplomatic, instead of just staying quiet on purpose in a discussion.

I'm a Leo venus but not attracted to Leo men. Once I'm comfortable with a person I'm interested in or in love with I am definitely passionate and very bold in the way I express my love. It's also very tempered with the ton of Cancer I have so that there's a huge dose of wanting that emotional connection with someone on top of a physical chemistry with them.

I thought so too. Cause my approach to love is easy going; even in a relationship my bf is not only my bf but my friend. I like to laugh and joke around; wrestle and stuff like that.
I'm not jealous either, I'm not attracted to Aquas and never have been. So in that; if that's the case with Venus in Aqua, it's wrong as far as attraction cause I'm not attracted to Aquas.

I think that makes the most sense. All of the positions of the planets touch on an aspect of how we personally think/feel/deal with in regards to which planet is being talked about. That's why the moon sign is dealing with emotions, venus is for love, etc. Now the question is, what DOES touch on what we are attracted to and who's attracted to us.

Well as of late; I've been attracted to water signs. Don't know why; but it's happening.
But I'm actually attracted to subtle dominance and silent assertiveness.
So I don't know.

My venus in gem so I ll be attracted to gems— Leo rising and leos are attracted to me a lot...

Both me and my ex have the same Venus, and Mars, Aqua. Our attraction to each other was the easy going nature; the ability to have fun, laugh, dance, joke around, and be cool, calm and collective, he's a Cap.

I also have this same kind of connection with Leo Mars and Venus placements, my step dad is joketive and at times is my drinking body when I do drink, he's a Cancer.

My friends whose also a Cancer with Leo in Mars and Venus, is also very jokative(smart as mouth) but still funny in his own corky way.

I've yet to have this with Aquas, whether friends or romantic attraction, my sister is an Aqua though and we get each other, she's and she only opens up to me. But that's my sista...lol.

So far I've noticed I attract more water and earth signs. And visa versa.

Venus in cancer here. I like the cuddling and conversation combo.

I have Venus in Gemini (which is in the 8th house *rolls eyes*), but I feel it is subdued by my Sun, Moon and Mars all being in Cancer. I do covert flirting (my friends say different)and I usually don't run out of things to say when I am trying to pursue a female....but, I have to get the courage up to actually pursue her first. lol!

I don't have more than one relationship going at a time, but being mentally stimulated as well as the other stimulations is important to me. I don't want to be bored and thinking 'What if?'
However, being the Cancer that I am, I'll cling and ride the relationship to the wheels fall off.

I attract alot of air (Gemini) and fire (Leo and Aries) signs for some reason..even though, but I usually stick to my water sign folks. I would love to date a Taurus or Virgo lady though. 🙂

I also have Venus in Gemini and I have not "clicked" with one Gemini, EVER. All Gemini relationships for me have been forced. In fact, my sister is a Gemini and if it wasn't for us being related then we would not be friends, and sometimes our sisterly relationship is forced.
