Hey SeizetheDay!

How are you? True, but what things do you do to make your man feel more special? What do men of this sign like for their women to do? Do you like to be called alot? Do you like tokens of affection? PDA's? This is more out of curiosity, because I am so used to being single, I want to know what other women do & what their men like for them to do. Thanks

I dunno.. *scratches head*

I used to trip over myself to do things.. in hopes that I was making the person I was dating feel special. I've come to realize that when you do that-- and then slack off, they notice. So just about everyone is a friend except for some subtle differences.

By differences, I mean..
- the level of my personal vulnerability..
- the amount of time we spend together
- how much time I'll invest when there's conflict

I don't trip over the romantic stuff, because although it's nice in the beginning- it rarely lasts past the 1-2 year mark....at least it hasn't with me. If I get sappy-romantic treats, it's great! But I won't expect anyone to keep that up.

As for Arien men, I only dated one. I can only speak on that experience.

For the most part, he wanted to be the aggressor.. the chaser.. the initiator. Every month or so.. we did something new. This month.. salsa lessons.. next month guitar lessons.. today-- sushi, tomorrow we're going to Canada. Despite his erratic choice in things to do, at times he was painfully predictable.

During our conversations, he laid everything out on the table and was as honest as possible. If he had to guess what I was thinking, he would get aggitated... or would guess wrong. He would get particularly worried if he thought I was hiding something. Sometimes, in arguments, he was overly sensitive- overly dramatic- but then again, so was I. He like to be re-assured emotionally, and quite often, if he was telling me his problems... it was because he just wanted to unload-- not brainstorm for a solution.

I guess, in many ways, I'm the same way.

So much more.. but I'm rambling..

I would say live for the moment. Love always shows the way. Provided what your love has seen of is your "Real Self". If the love has been won by "putting on" a false front then you will have to work harder by the day to maintain that false front. That would get very frustrating.Takes all hte fun away. And happens all the time.

So if your BF has fallen for the real you and you intend to maintain that ..plus aspire to reach your "ideal self" which he will also appreciate..you will do a bang up job being a good GF without any external output..🙂

Seize the day!

Your answer was GREAT! Why would you think you were in left field? All aspects of relationships can be included in this question, that's why I made it so general. I like to know what other people do in their relationships so I can learn from their successes & mistakes. I wonder what other people do in bed, so I can learn new tricks for my man. Please continue to keep up the comments. WE LOVE 'EM! 🙂

Vanessa126,

Yeah, he cheated but he is stupid! Personally as long as my man has respect enough for me not to:
1. Have stupid b!tches calling my house or phone about my man
2. Have another woman set up in a house across town
3. Bring me any STD's
4. Keep me in love, sex, & affection

I really don't care if he cheats. I like living in a fantasy world & as long as he keeps me there, I am fine! If your game is tight enough or I am not doing something you really like that someone else will do for you (and you have already asked me & it's not too sick to where I want to leave you anyway for even WANTING that) then get someone else to do it! Just don't let me find out about it. Maybe I'm weird like that, but that's how I am.

I on the other hand, am a HUGE flirt, but I never cheated on my two men...then again I've only had two (for 8 months) so...

My life is good! My Pisces man is still acting right, & I am scared b/c I am getting to the point where if I date other men, I am cheating. Lord help me if he ain't for real, cause I'm fallin hard!

LOONEYBIR😱 That insight is SO RIGHT! 😉 I rhymed! You should post that on ALL boards so women will know...Changing who you are DOESN'T WORK!

I think being a good girlfriend means being a good friend first. My best relationships have been that way because we nurtured our friendship first. Build and keep that foundation. I believe a couple who really loves eachother(or a strong like) should be able to talk about most things out in the open. Your partner should be your safe place. No conversation should be off limit.
Another important thing I believe is knowing when to SHUT THE F' UP!! I learned that one the hard way 🙂. Sometimes its good to just be quiet and listen. No matter what the subject is or who is right or wrong. We don't have to be right all the time and even if we are...don't argue him into submission...just be quiet and he will figure it out on his own. Even if he is too stubborn to admit it outloud..you know and God knows. The argument is not always necessary.
Just being there for him and holding on to who you are (cuz some chicks will lose themselves in a man) standing your ground while being honest, understanding, loving, open should put any female in the good girlfriend spot.

SangiCrab,

Aww, you are sweet! Thanks...the first guy was a Scorpio. He ended up cheating on me but I harbor no hard feelings. He was my first of everything (except french kissing) but we were in college so I knew realistically that we might not be the best for each other long-term. I think Scorps. are great for me in general even though...

I have a Pisces now...well I still don't consider him "mine" because I am afraid once I do he will become "slippery" again. I don't announce him as my man, but I have stopped dating other men. Wish me luck!
