What the Hell?!

So they say I, as a Cancer should date other water signs... or earth signs. Then why is it that I keep attracting the wrong signs? Freakn Aquarius, Virgo, Leo, and Libra! What gives here? I am waiting on the Water sign of my dreams to enjoy the cling, and cling back! Not some cold detached air sign, or some hypercritical earth dweller, and not to mention the hot headed, self centered fire sign, and who the hell let the dang debating Libra into my life. I want to love, not debate over every aspect of life! Sheesh...

I know just what you mean. I tend find them mysterious. I want to know more. In reality, they're not mysterious at all. I'm learning that they are just what they appear...

What I mean is that every guy that seems to approach me is some Leo, or Virgo mostly. Lately Libra and Aquarius have tried to poke their little heads into my shell. I'm about ready to pinch the hell outta somebody lol!

Virgo is an earth sign... though I don't think it's such a good match for Cancer.

You should date a Fishy, Brown69!

No one understands a Cancer on the metaphysical and esoteric emotional level better than Pisces.

My personal opinion is that sign of the same kind go with each other very well (like water+water, earth+earth), but if you want some passion, some salt & pepper, water should go with earth and air with fire. It's more interesting this way. More challenging. And beside this, don't forget! Love is what makes the mountains move!

angelicvirgo has it on da money....water + air = champagne! and who doesn't need a little bubbly in their life to liven things up? and earth + fire = bonfire! and who doesn't want to roast marshmallows over a crackling fire?

I'm really hoping that this water+ air match up makes wonderful bubbly champagne, or at least a nice moscato lol! I think I coulld really dig this man. I'm afraid to get hurt b/c he's already displaying his airy tendancies, while i'm trying to ignore them. I know in the end they will start to get on my nerves, and my emotional baseline will get on his...I spoke with a friend last night who is a fellow Cancer and a male. He was having GF issues, and I could see why other signs become overwhelmed with us. I, however got him wholeheartedly. His reasoning was logical to me although emotionally based. It was heavy, and most would not have the patience to deal. He is dating a Taurus, and will have to be patient with HER! lol!

Hah, I hear ya. If you want to attract water signs, brown69, be me. I attract NOTHING but water. It's insane.

I'm a gemini. I guess I can't say that I DON'T attract fire and air signs, but ehhh, after the initial attraction, we usually just end up being friends. It's too friendly feeling haha. Sometimes I wish I could be more attracted to these people. It would be SO much easier to date one and live harmoniously. But, it rarely ever happens that way.

When I meet a water sign and he meets me, it's usually evident that we're quite different. We may even consciously notice certain things about each other that we don't necessarily like or think we could deal with, but inevitably, we almost always end up together.

@Brown69, I agree with wineaux. There are air signs that have a lot of water in their charts (like me!) and I can be conditioned very quickly to become what a person needs (such as lovey, affectionate and warm). This may take time and it MAY need to be communicated to me, but once I'm told or shown what my significant other needs, I'm very good at becoming that. But gem's are the mutable air sign...perhaps that's why.

Girl, I don't blame you for getting irritated with his "airy" tendancies. I'm a gemini, and even though I understood my gemini boyfriend's habits, they still made me nervous, anxious and irritated!

Smothering wouldn't necessarily make me uneasy to the point of LEAVING someone. In fact, I wish my crab would have been more up front about his needs for love, affection and assurance. I would've gladly given it to him, should he have asked.

Nope (notice I was using past-tense). He's attempted to make contact but I'm forcing some distance between us right now. We both have troubles staying away from one another and doing what is best for ourselves so I've decided to take the lead. The distance is much needed.
