Advice

So, the Cap i mentioned before, its 10 days since i saw him, and i'm kind of sure what my situation is, but i'd just like to go over it here. We have texted almost everyday since, he's not been feeling 100% so we havent met since we last saw each other. Anyway, when i text him, usually just to say hi etc, he always answers quickly..he never ignores me. BUT, i have no idea what he thinks of me..i cant be sure if he's just friendly, or has no interest at all.

Should i safely assume there's nothing there and leave it...or just see what happens? Intuition goes with the first idea 🙂

Can't hurt to see what happens. Whatever you do, just don't flip out. Go with the flow and don't overthink things as whatever your mind conjures up with can find its way out of your mouth thus messing the overall situation up. Be easygoing. With time, your situation should become clear.

Ive already flipped out..i completely over-analyse everything, i cant help it!! Im just backing off a bit, im sure he'd be in touch if he wanted to be?

What's up with the mind reading? LOL. If you drop out for a few days he'll probably call you... however you're in contact every day already. If you're just starting with him then it's totally normal for him to drag it out a little. That's what I would do, so I wouldn't come off as needy (or get in too far over my head).

Thanks Saggit...its been two days and ive decided to chill..what will be and all that. Im hopeful, but not overly optimistic 🙂

And should add that i was the initiator of 99% of the communication that has thus far occured = can safely say that one will not come to fruition. Why is it always the ones you reallllly want you dont get?? Dang 😢

He actually got in touch yesterday with to say have a good birthday (a day early)!! but i think he's only into a friendship, so thats cool. Should have asked him for a birthday kiss 🙂

How was your vacation?

I havent been yet!! Leave tomorrow, flight at 5.30 in the afternoon, then back on the 15th 🙂

Hopefully i'll catch the last of the sunshine!!
