I had a good gemini friend who was crazy about a cappy man. He treated my friend very well, and she fell crazy in love with him. However, he was involved with a cancer woman before he met my friend and he had a child with the ex. I don't remember her telling me of any violent drama -- only his connection with his ex and his child worried her. I believe he went back to his child's mom. I don't think it was only because of the child though, I think he wanted the ex as well. It really hurt my friend. She eventually got over him, though. She was always able to bounce back. She didn't really confide in me about it, so I don't know the depth of her hurt over losing him. I can only go by how I know she loved him and if it was me, I would have been deeply, deeply hurt, because he seemed like such a geniune person. It seems the timing may have been the only thing wrong with their relationship.

There was a woman here a few years back (2005-06) named greeneyed-gemini and she had an on/off relationship with a cappy. She called him her little billy goat. She loved that guy. I don't think she is still around though, but here's a link to her profile . You can read her posts and get more insight on her relationship.

There was another poster here as well whose parents were gem/female and cappy/male. The divorced. I think it was because they had different temperments. I don't know if you can totally blame that on their Sun signs because there are other aspects to consider that may not have been so compatible and put a strain on the 6-8 vibration between the signs.

A relationship can work if the two people want it. That's my stance...

I am Cappy woman. One of my best friend is a Gemini man. One of my other friend is a Cappy woman married a Gemini guy.

I think the main issues in Capricorn-Gemini relationship are privacy and compatibility of how much social activity you prefer. Also deicision making.

For example, my Gemini friend prefer being in a small group of friends, an he is a stayat home. Enjoy playing card games (scrabble), or playing golf. You see in these activities he doesn't need too much people around him.
In the case of my Capricorn friend and her Gemini husband, they are both VERY social, and the girl has an adventureous streak. The man likes to go out with friends (or playing poker), but they both have no problem spending their time at home alone. He also taught her wife to play different kind of games, so she can join him.

About privacy:
For Gemini communication is the MOST important. They like to talk, to share. They talk about everything and enjoy the process of exchanging ideas. In the spur of the moment many times they may harm your privacy with this, telling things what you don't like others to know. They are not doing this intentionally, simply their need to communicate is so great that they sometimes don't udnerstand how come and why is that there are things what you probably don't share with everybody.
It was an extreme example, and with good communication, simply you should tell the Gemini that what you say you'd like that to stay between you. They will respect it, and they will trust you more.

You should be always clear about your needs, and communicate everything. Don't close into yourself. While there are signs what are not comfortable with open (but kind) confrontation), for Gemini that is the way to go.

About deicision making: (I don't talk about all Geminis, it's only my personal experience, ok?)
Some of them has problem with decision making. They can't decide between two possibilities because they see both side of the coing, and want to understand it. They no there is no right decision, because everything is a matter of your own personal viewpoint. And sometimes they are just simply too kind to say no. It can very much bother a Capricorn. 😄
