Capricorn Moon and Capricorn Venus?

How can we both effectively communicate with each other on an emotional level? I feel like that's the only problem we both have.

Me:
Sun - Aquarius
Moon - Leo
Venus - Capricorn
Mars - Taurus

Him:
Sun - Sagittarius
Moon - Capricorn
Venus - Scorpio
Mars - Sagittarius

i've had good experiences with this match. expressing ourselves emotionally was never an issue. there was a mutual understanding there and everything came out naturally.

what is the actual problem? do you feel you both hold back from each other or have trouble understanding each others wants/needs?

yeah i think we're both holding back on each other and we're also having trouble understanding each other as well. that's how i see it. things were going pretty well between the two of us until he recently (2 weeks ago) started becoming distant from me. the only reason to why this may have happened is because there was a bit of tension between us the last time we hung out. That's the only thing I could think of and he just acted like a dick the whole time. i've also been having second thoughts about this guy for quite some time and i feel like if we try to communicate then things would have been a lot easier than it seems.

My mercury is Aquarius and his is Sagittarius. What does the mercury do?

I think he might have noticed that. When I have second thoughts about someone I naturally become quiet and then I wouldn't know how to act like myself anymore. I think that's what happened. Is there a way to fix this? I find myself having a hard time expressing my emotions being an Aqua w/ Cappy venus.

I can relate with that...the fear of rejection is strong, so I end up not approaching at all...or if I do, act as if I give less than half of a fuck about it.

Yeah, I figured our moon signs weren't that compatible. I'm still trying to understand astrology more.. I'm kinda new to this btw. I know I have a great deal of patience when it comes to relationships and such so hopefully I can get everything sorted out with this guy. This guy is hard to understand though because his Sun and Mars is in Sagittarius. How can I approach him and talk things out?

Reason why I was starting to have second thoughts was because I couldn't tell whether or not he really liked me. Then I realized he's a Cappy moon..

One other thing, what does "treetrunk" mean? I see it on the forums all the time and I even google searched it but I couldn't find anything.

@puti - mercury is how you think, process, communicate, etc.

and i would think your aqua sun and merc would have trouble even dealing with emotions, let alone expressing them to someone else.

i agree with truecap, if he senses your second thoughts. he doesn't know where he stands and may not feel safe/secure.
break it down for him. ask him how he feels and what he needs from you. reassure him of your feelings.

I'm scared to confront him and I'm not sure how to express myself if I do. Should I wait until he talks to me or should I initiate the convo? It's been 2 weeks and the last time we talked was 4-5 days ago. I'm not sure how much longer I have to wait before it's too late. I also have finals coming up in the next two days.

don't be scared. things won't have a chance to get better if you don't make an effort. and if he reacts badly or doesn't return the gesture, then more the reason to end it.

maybe tell him you want to hang out and talk once finals are over. 🙂

can you tell me how should i start the conversation? like what should i say? i'm so bad with this! it's making me nervous.
