Capricorn mothers-in-law!!

My Aqua friend is seriously clashing with her Capricorn mother-in-law! The aqua doesn't believe in astrology but it's so funny when she says "she wants to make rigid schedules for everything and I'd rather do things whenever I feel like it and it really pisses her off!" it just makes me laugh because it's so astrologically correct!

Anyone got tips for dealing with cappy mothers-in-law I can give her?

If they live close to each other then that is the majority of the problem. Move far away and love the mother in law with a long handled spoon. Sometimes it is hard for people to let go of the traditionals once their children get married. I dont think this is Capricorn thing. It is the mother in law thing. My mom is a Virgo and she did it to my brother and me. No matter what out mom said or did right or wrong, my brother would always smile in her face and/or talk nice on the phone, but it got to the point where he quit bringing his family over and would not call her on the phone for long periods of time. He never told her there was a problem, but she started to watch her step around them after that. For me, I put my foot down right in front of her face and we didnt speak for months. I wouldnt recommend the latter. 🙂

BTW my ex mother in law is a Cap. She was the same way as you described with the friends mil. It was very difficult and not because of her attitude, but because my ex would constantly bow to her wishes and demands. I never disrespected her, but I got tired of her very quickly. I just stood my ground with my ex and his mom. And I still do to this day. My ex has a brother, but she does not treat him like that because he does not allow her to run his life. My ex mil is a huge part of why me and her son are divorced.
