it's not always easy being aware of your own presence and it's affect on the setting/surroundings, but we've been amongst fellow capricorns ourselves, no? Do you ever pay attention to the affect our sign has on the atmosphere? or the people around? how they react? are made to feel?

what's your experience or opinion when you've been around another capricorn? ...a spectators perspective.

in a work setting i've worked along side a few caps... they seemed to be the go to people. very in control of responsibilities as well as good humored about the work load. one in particular had a really nice sense of the time for work and the time for laughs.

in general from what i've witnessed from other capricorns is that they/we have a very self-controlled and calming affect on a group of people. smart, witty and calming. that's as best as i can describe our vibe.

i had a good friend for a long time... male cap ...who was always bright, happy, upbeat, laughing... always made me smile whenever we'd see each other. this is my permanent view of us.

one of my best friends is a female cap, 12/24, so she's right near the cusp like myself and she's so good humored. she has that stereotypical moodiness about her for sure and definitely the female cap reserve, but knowing her the way i know her... she's a gem with sharp perceptiveness and observation that translates pretty well to a cutting wit that'll catch you off guard a lot.

we're a very steady bunch. i feel thats one of the strongest characteristics we have to offer to the masses... strong and steady. imo, we're a comfort to be around.

I'm not a Capricorn but I have a Capricorn moon so I tend to have some understanding of Caps. They're quiet but intense, I know one girl I actually guessed she was a Capricorn just by being near her; really responsible, emotionally intense about people she cares about, but reserved and pretty unfriendly to everyone else.

My sister is a Capricorn too and she's really sweet, maybe a different Moon or something, I should do her chart, because she isn't unfriendly, she's more like shy or sensitive, and no she's not a Pisces cusp, either. Still quiet and intense and earthy and responsible too.

My senior year of high school I briefly dated a Capricorn and I knew he liked me because he would always stare at me or "accidentally" brush past me when he walked by. He didn't directly approach me and he was more reserved. When I got to know him we had good physical chemistry, but he was pretty dull and boring. However, maybe he's more interesting now that he's older, he friended me on facebook, and was really nice, sent a message to me, and seems like someone's typical, responsible Capricorn husband and father now who has valued security.

I'm trying to think of a Capricorn I genuinely hate (though I can get mad at them) and I can't think of one.

I recently found out that one of the guys I worked with was a Cap(1/15). I wondered about his sign, for the longest, because he was usually chatty and upbeat(would sing all the time) but he never would say more than two words, if that, to me. I wouldnt say he avoided me, but I would most definitely say he didnt try to extend himself at all when I was around. I figured him for another Cardinal, but a Libra, since I could see myself getting into it with him, especially since he accidently hit me with a paper ball one day lol. He's a hard worker, that much I can say. His presence wasnt that strong, imo. I wouldve guessed him to be every other sign in the zodiac.

jaysus... capricorns cant be cheerful in and of themselves without having to blame another placement?

*facepalm*

seraph, you're sweet. no really, that is the kind of guy he is. everyone loves the guy. some people will create happiness wherever they go, he's one of those ppl. there are those kinds of caps out there! and of course full charts, houses aspects etc have their role. but don't lets be silly and strip capricornism of all cheer. our forum is graced by a very smart, level-headed and cheerful group. obviously it's not sunny 24/7 here. some of us revel in our cynicism. i think it's hilarious, and maybe because i understand it do i find comfort in it too.

i myself can have my more quiet and contemplative moments, but my chart is pretty laden with moody and heavy placements, imo. despite that more often than not... i'm happy person. not ALL caps i come across are a walk in the park. like i'd said... my bff can come off very cold, but her presence offers the security that things that should be done will be done.

i like the presence of my fellow caps. it's the security. yes you have that with any kindred sun sign, but specifically with caps it's the security in our stable emotions and the control of our composure.. even when we "let loose" there can be a degree of self-control in it.

...unless you are like me and you turn to your friend, bow and say "i am now in your hands. do not hold me accountable for myself for the rest of the night" then proceed to lose all recollection. allegedly that was me a couple weeks ago. 😛

*double facepalm*

alright fine its me, i see my cap family through rose colored lenses.

he was never annoying about it... but real. he wasnt dismissive of his own or someone else's real issues... he was positive about it and could offer real advice and encouragement.

caps do have a strong sense of struggle... when you've brought yourself to a point of maturity where you know how to carry a burden with a smile, you realize how much more affective you can be in society... the lesson sticks, and depending on your ambitions, you take it to heart and will try to share it.

it's that kind of grounding that i adore in caps. there's some calming confidence in it.

I know some happy-cappys.
But effervescent, exuberant people need to stay the hell away from me until about 11AM (horniness is OK if my S/O). Grouches are welcome. Some people just have too much zest, popping out of the bed, goose stepping/skipping around, whistling, singing etc., first thing in the morning EVEN ON DAYS OFF... grrr... I almost expect cartoon birds to fly onto their finger tips. (specifically my ex-leo, AND my sister's cap-hubby, lol

lol I had to go find this video....it just reminded me of this scene!
