Caps and insecurity

Is it normal for cap men to be insecure? It seems this guy needs a lot of reassurance. He asks if I miss him when we talk...which as you know with caps is on and off. He asks why I don't call him. Well I just don't...thats the way I am. I said why don't you call me? He also is very open in expression about how he feels about me. Maybe I just hold back more...I feel like sometimes he says things just so that I will reciprocate. I can be very sensitive and loving, but I don't always know where a good middle ground is. If I open up I don't want to scare him away. And if he is "fishing" that makes me uncomfortable anyway.

the ones that i know? hell yeah! VERY insecure creatures indeed but they seem to only let this side show to those they really like. i think it's because the ones they want to be close to are the ones that they want to be accepted by the most. as is. with all their flaws. they want to be perfect for the people they love/like but they know that can only happen for so long before their human side eventually shows. they just wanna love and be loved.

the problem is that i don't think this is a sign thing. this can be said for a lot of ppl.
