Cash, debit cards, checks, ... oh my :O

Have you ever went shopping while pissed off? Like being really upset and then you go off and buy anything in sight?

This happened last Sunday. I was so mad, I went shopping at like 5 different stores and bought whatever I thought would make me feel better.


Although I didn't need any of the things I bought and I couldn't really afford it lol.


That was stupid but I did it anyway. Has this ever happened to you?


After looking at the last night receipts (I didn't want to look at them any sooner), I have learned a valuable lesson ... I need to workout when I'm pissed off. At least I will have money that way ...

Yes it use to happen to me quite frequently until I prayed and asked God to help me get in control of my anger so that when I am upset I channel it the right way instead of excessive charges on my credit cards that I have no business doing. So I'm with ya. I no longer do that anymore but YES I use to go and buy shoes and clothes and purses and get home and think my word! Last night though I was in a store that had 80% off some books and I couldn't pass up the chance to get some so I got to the register and one was like originally $ 40.00 it came to be $ 7.49 another came out $ 3.74 so I felt good about my purchase. I was propelled to buy them after kicking myself for not taking an opportunity to be Bold and step out of my comfort zone. Indulge me if you will, lol. I went to pick up my dinner and this VERY attractive gentleman gets out his car at the same time and is walking into the restaurant. I see a former co worker who calls my name out so we proceed to talking and go in. At the register is this handsome creature standing there looking at the guy and me talk. The guy probably was smirking because my former co-worker was acting like the DIVA that he is. So the guy puts his blackberry on the counter and was going in his pocket. I picked it up and said who phone is this it's nice and he smiled and said well thank you. Then me and my co-wroker is yabbing and he's giving me a signal the guy is looking at me. So it came time for me to exchange numbers with my coworker and I grabbed the first piece of paper I saw which was the guy's ticket. LAUGHS, My coworker and the guy laughed because I had written my number on the man's ticket. So he said it's ok really. Well the guy had some mor eminutes for his food to get ready and went to his car. 3 people told me

Told me that the guy was checking me out. So I was like Darn it I should have engaged him in convo a bit more. So me being the Capricorn I am I said oh well and kicked myself. Now as I am walking out to my car guess who is sitting there? The guy. When I looked he quickly looked away and acted like he was reading something, lol. So I ge tin my car and proceed to drive off and he cuts in front of me. Ok this is even more funny. I am behind him in his exquiste new 2009 Escalade and he is putting on his signal but seems confused so he switches it from left to right and back again. I look in my mirror wondering what is he doing, so he waves and I wave back. Ok he turns to the left which is the way I was turning. Ok I'm driving and the guy has slowed his speed so I will be at the same distance with him. We get to the lights and I get in the opposite lane lol. I put on my signal to turn and the guy couldn't get over so he blew his horn to try and get in the lane to turn but traffic lights had changed. Then as I was turning he blew his horn and wink and waved at me. I said DARN IT all that when we could have talked waaaaayyyyy back at the restaurant lol.

hmm... i actually never do that. i only shop when i'm in a good mood and i do not joke with money lol. never live beyond my means. when i'm in bad mood i cry lol.

You are right SG, I could ... but one of the shirts I bought ... I'm wearing right now lol OH! And there's this conditioner by John Frieda that I just wanted to try -- its Brilliant Brunette with light Enhancers 😛 Oh and then theres this body sugar stuff that I purchased and it smells so good. There's this mascara that I saw that seemed so cool, it suppose to highlight my eye color or whatever lol. and then, well I bought a few other things as well.

I should return them, you are right, I should.


I was just sooooo upset with my step-dad, I threw a fit and went shopping lol

I'm with SG on this. I never splurge unless I can afford it. Even then I feel it has to be something I will enjoy for a while. I also love a real bargain. I mean good quality for a low cost. If I am stressed and need to feel better I will go for a run in the park or have my hair highlighted or eat comfort food, particularly chocolate, or buy some new plants or flowers. I know that if I spend all my money on things I can't afford I will just feel more stressed from guilt.

I like bargains too cappygolightly! Its just ... I guess my mind went into disturbia or something for the reminder of the afternoon on Easter. There weren't many people in the stores so I was able to zip where ever I wanted without much trouble lol

I just went nuts last Sunday. I should have been with family because it was Easter but instead I left family and went shopping.


The only thing I didn't buy was shoes :O ... that was stupid. Well, actually, thats probably a good thing. haha

I saw this beutiful dark red top few days back in a mall and i didnt buy but since that day i have been thinking about it.

I love dark red!!! My favorite color is blue 😛 OMG I love clothes, but I'm not high-mainstance only medium. I haven't went and just bought stuff like that in a while. My hidden shop-a-holic came out :/

sj ... thats a long, long, long story lol. But to make it short, I thought it was best to break up with him because we just couldn't see commonground. I couldn't a thread about it I think ... its on the Virgo board.
