I always wonder, why are capricorns so ambitious and interested in rising to positions of power and authority. Now I know.

Deep inside, capricorns want just as much freedom as his neighboring saggi or aries, but he knows only power and authority can give you that freedom. Because nobody dares to touch your a** when you are up there.
Follow the rules so you can break them later is the Capricorn motto.
Because its his nature to restrain himself and submission to higher authority, you can expect all hell to break lose when he does reach a position of prominent power. Look at Joseph Stalin for example.
This generally makes Capricorns ruthless power players and cunning politicians, and sometimes outright hypocrites. Taking one stance when he is at the bottom (to please the upper hierarchy and show he's a good follower)and switch to another when it is necessary to maintain his authority. Never underestimate a capricorn just because he seems nicer and more modest than a scorpio.
One thing I find astounding is that, while a Capricorn suffer much during his rise to the top, he does not make life easier for those under him when he's finally there. Imposing endless oughts and shoulds, and making new rules so he can walk over people is his nature.

well, my problem with capricorns is that they are all hypocrites.
they suffered harsh rules and regulations when they were noobs
and now they imposed equally harsh rules on work-noobs once they are at the top
makes no sense.
most caps think that rules and deadlines makes the world go round, and without them the world would collapse

Stalin is not a communist, he's just a power-mad tyrant claiming to be a communist
I hate stalin very much because he had alot of capricorn characteristics
