Enough about me...

Capricorns! Tell me about yourselves. My father is a cap, I've never quite been able to wrap my mind around his behaviour! Now I'm gaining a close friend who is a Capricorn. Why do I tend to feel out of my element when we are hanging out? My cap friend is so funny/fun to be around, but sometimes I find myself not knowing what to say. I've experienced a similar phenomenon whilst speaking with my father. It's not as if I don't have common ground to discuss with them. However, I just find myself unsure of how to act/react around them.

(I'm using these two people as an example because they are the only two caps I've truly "known".)

I suppose I'm looking for the caps on here to provide insight on what is going through your mind sometimes. It's impossible for me to tell. Feel free to talk about relationships, friendships, family, yourself. I do apologize if this is too broad of a topic.

BTW...this new cap friend is the kind that comes with benefits! ;D but we ARE NOT dating. We're only getting to know each other as friends, but also treetrunking! 🙂

I get it now! My cap fwb is constantly using humor. He's so funny! We make each other laugh, but he makes me laugh the most.

I have a more specific question for all you sea goats: how do you deal with stress? Example: your car breaking down when you've recently started a job that is not within walking distance of your home.

Despite what you think about our blank face it's not true. We are not mad just focused on something. The way I can explain it is like this, our bodies are running on auto pilot and our minds is doing other things ATM.
Capricorn's also can adapt to any situation and adjust accordingly to what just works. Answers instead of questions.

My Cap friend kind of talked about this yesterday.

I was at the bank and the lady and I exchanged a few words about my hair. She said it was pretty, and I had a ton of it etc, Then we talked a bit more about hair. Then when it came down to me withdrawing money, the energy changed. Im not sure what happened....I was telling him I think I had to repeat something(a pet peeve of mine) and maybe my slight irritation(I cant control it) threw things off, or maybe when I got down to what I was there for I became serious?.....idk, but it ALWAYS happen. Im never able to keep good energy going with people....unless they are much older.

He told me it happens to him too. He'll be talking about something, and a person will say something that throws him off and he'll have a WTF look on his face, without realizing it, which then throws the other person off...and theres weirdness for a second. He thought maybe I was smiling, yet had a look on my face at the same time. He says I do it a lot.

Anyway, we dont mean any harm and imo we get along best with people who are not affected by our ability to easily get off track. Its like ignore our "moments"....the worse thing you can do is let us make you uncomfortable because it then makes us even more uncomfortable and the energy is ruined...sometimes creating tension even.

When you talk to your dad or friends...dont pay attention to the looks, comments, or silence lol.

The cap and I made it official! We've been together for a month ( estimation). I'm incredibly happy so far. But I understand why you're saying completely. I have been able to avoid awkwardness between us because I just kind of roll with the way he is. If he behaves in a way that may seem questionable (interrupting, unintentionally ignoring, being highly opinionated) I make sure not to take it personally.

It's not as if I'm not being myself around him (though I do have a changeable personality). What I meant by that question: I was wondering if he would be scared away by how forward and brash I can be.

And I sense I hint of sarcasm within that last statement. Lol

I've heard this many times! I've also read that aries and cap is a tough pair. I'm willing to try this, however. I'm going to obtain his natal chart soon as I can...then I'll update the board on how our aspects match up. I'm very happy in our relationship thus far. It does help that we were friends for a good while before we ever became lovers.,
