Well well, I thoguht I'd enlighten you all with this recent situation my ex cap man was in.

I believe it was Early Monday morning when he called at 2 in the morning.

Situation was that he was in Murphy, Tx
(which was a good 45 mins to an hour from where he lived. 15 mins from where I'm at.)
He had gotten stopped by an officer because he was "swerving" and they thought he was drunk. He gets pulled over and his car impounded. He calls me and asks me if I could pick him up, which is NO problem. But me being a Cancer, I want to know how he ended up in Murphy, Texas.
He claimed that him and his cousin went out to eat with this girl and he was taking the girl home when he got stopped. So, I asked him is the girl with him? He said "Uh, yea."
Then I asked if he knew where he was, which he didn't, so I asked if I could speak to her since she lived in the area. He said. "Um . . yea, Hold on."
(He had no choice because I'm the one picking his ass up)
So me and her talk, mind y'all, I was very polite and civilized. Just asked where exactly he was. She told me and we hung up. Then she left him there at MickeyD's and went home. (Kinda coldblooded to me?)

So it took me a while to get there and I was visibly pissed. He tried to act all sweet, asking for a hug and kiss and butter, but I wasn't having it. "I said i came here to pick yo ass up and go home." He had to spend the night at my house.
So we get home, he sits on my couch waiting for me to come back downstairs. (I went to get our daughter.)

He asks if I was mad again. I said yea. Then he started saying "I don't even like that girl, I was just going to get out the house because I was bored. You see she don't even care about me, she left me right at that corner when you and her got finished talking."

Then somehow we got on the topic of our relatinoship. Told me he cares about me alot more than I think he does and said he had missed me. Asked if i loved him, why was I talking to other men and that he wanted to work things out but take it slow. Then we kissed and , lol

Man, that just made EVERYTHING worse because things were going good with me and the scorp and I was FINALLY getting over him then BAM! This happens.

Lord, I tell ya.

Ok, Honest Opinion, was this a start of some soon to be heart felt conversation or just something to make me believe he wasnt talking to her—??

Run girl run. You sound like a total sweetie and this guy is play you, you seem to have a nice friendship, leave it at that until he grows up...believe me (and i know you know this) there are a LOT of guys out there...

Rose-tinted glasses just taken off and now cynical/reality glasses perched on me today.......2am in the morning!.....drunk!.....pretty lady beside him!.......can't get what he's looking for from the lady because of circumstances!!! Audacity to call you with HER still with him - cuh!! whispers a few sweet-nothings to you, says "he wanted to work things out but take it slow" - yeah right "slow" being the operative word. And bingo, he's got you, has his way (albeit you enjoyed yourself too which I sure hope you did:-)) - and now you're back in limbo-land a-wonderin'. View the whole thing as a lesson in life and love gone wrong.....he was wrong to ring, you were wrong even to consider going out at that late hour.....so get up, dust yourself off, don't give the situation a second thought - everyone makes mistakes - and get back on track with the Scorp......

Yea, those who said I should move on, you're right. After that night, everything just went kaput. Everything just went in full circle. We started fighting again, he said I wasn't even trying to work nothing out, I got fed up and hung up. He called back, I didn't pick up. The next day I called him, told him I'm done and that I'm moving on, he got mad and said ok. And then just hung up. I did not call back because I just . . . don't . . . care. I am so sick and tired of this that I'm not concentrating on work or school. I don't need this type of a man to be in my life. Yes, he's my daughter's father but that's just it. He's my daughter's father. So he doesn't have to be in my life, just hers. I'll act civilized but I don't even want to talk to this man anymore. I have never in my life been strung along for 2 years. Never. I give up. I don't have anymore energy to play with this man. I'm emotionally and mentally drained.
I'm TIRED.

Tes, that whole " I care about you" line gets you everytime bcause I think we want to be love so desparately, we refuse to look at the big picture ... you know what I mean.

Yes, I agree, leave him alone. I had to come to this conclusion about someone in my life ... the bs is wear-and-tear on you emotionally. I'm in college and I work two jobs, so I understand. If we let these guys bring us down, we are going to feel like morons later in life. Yes, let your daugther see her father, but please don't form any more emotional bonds ... they are hard to get rid of.
