Spring has sprung :)

Hoorah!!! a sunny day after all the gloomy weather.

In my avatar is a pic of my cappy kitten who is certainly cappy go lucky 🙂 She was born on 2nd Jan.

How sweet, I adore black kitties. 🙂 Here too, the Chinook is blowing, crocus and hyacinth are peeping up. My favorite time of year.

Awww. Dunno about there Hairitic, but the mold count is high here. Achoo! indeed, and Gesundheit. Ever tried Claritin? Benadryl makes me so sleepy.

Allergies are such a pain in the rump.

Here in Indiana too. This isn't over yet by a long shot. There will be another hard freeze, just in time to obliterate any hope of a decent crop of peaches. Twisters? Every spring and autumn. Blech.

the weather is nice. going out sailing SF bay tomorrow 🙂. it's one of those activites that would make any stress go away completely 🙂.

How was the sailing? It sounds like a fantastic way to spend the day.

it's wonderful to hear that it's officially summertime there Oh Yeah! i'm glad the long dark cold winter is finally over for many of you 🙂.

the sailing was fantastic. the boom broke into half half way in the bay tho lol. interesting exprience. the skipper was very clam and experienced so it was all fun. i cannot wait to go out to the lake for small boat (14') sailing in the next few weeks. that's where i can be the boss the skipper lol.

Was it very windy to make the boom break like that? Glad to hear you were in safe hands 🙂

It's pretty gloomy here today. Cloudy and drizzle. But at least everything is blooming. Plus after tomorrow my kitten will be allowed in the garden. I can imagine she will go totally crazy checking out her new playground.

The kitten is a cappy 🙂 and is just over three months. She is very lively and sociable. But she is proving difficult to train and is still climbing to the top of the curtains on occasion. She was born 2nd jan and this is her chart :

SG as a cappy with a cappy mother you must have had a shared understanding and harmony in your childhood. I bet you can go to her for advice now whenever you need a second opinion.

Ive just left my kitten (she sleeps in the lounge/kitchen area) as I am up late having worked hard on a paper I need to hand in tomorrow 😢 She was so excited and purring, I don't think she likes being alone at night, but she hasn't explored the whole house yet and I am not keen on waking up to a steaming litter tray......! After tomorrow she is allowed outside, but Im not sure if I want her mixing with the neighbourhood cats. They are such a bad influence plus as a cappy lady she has certain standards to maintain haha 🙂

Do you have any pets now SG? I wish I could have a dog but like you say it's like a baby. I'd need to take time off while a puppy settled in plus ms cappy cat may not approve of a canine companion. I was thinking a large pommie, a wolf sable one if possible, because they don't need much walking and they get on with cats. I am still thinking about it because it would be nice. The alternative was a german shepherd but they have behavioural problems. So I am a bit lost. I want an easy going dog that wont need too much walking so a pommie seemed a good bet, but maybe I will wait until summer when all my studies are finished for this session.

How is the sexy scorp by the way? Ive not been on here for ages because it's been so quiet so I am not sure of your current situation but I have a feeling it is good. Any sign of wedding bells yet?

I am sure you are as charming as my kitten Shaks. She charms everyone! Even my scorp brother who does not like cats loves her. I wonder whether she would recognise a kindred astro spirit if she met you lol. She'd probably be climbing up the curtains and peeking through the curtain rings (her favourite game) at such a combination of astro connections.

btw, i didn't know you have a scorp brother. i thought you didn't like scorp based on your bad experience with some scorp stalker lol. i think your brother being a scorp probably makes it easier for him to love ur kitten 🙂.

It's true that I don't like scorp guys because of bad experiences on dates, particularly with one who stalked me but also they are way too intense and want to get you in the sack before you can say "do you come here often?".

But I have scorp friends who I like very much and I think scorps make great friends, very easy to get along with, sociable, deep, mysterious, interesting. My brother and I have a slightly complex relationship possibly because of a ten year age gap. When we were kids we were really close and he was very protective of me. But in adulthood he's found it hard to acknowledge that I have a right to an opinion. It's taken my mum's op to bring us closer together and we are getting along much better since then. He is not just scorp but has mars in scorp too and a leo moon which as you can imagine makes for a powerful combination. Together with merc in sagg he can sometimes let his mouth run away without realising how hurtful what he says can be. What Ive realised in the last few months is that I've been seeing that side without realising what he is like under the surface (revealed for example in the affection for the kitten). It's been a learning experience.
