Super protective of your bestfriend?

So I got on this site recently because I had a keen observation with the capricorns. I have 4 bestfriends, and we have all been together since we were toddlers. The 4 of them were all born in late December. The 21st, 23rd, 25th, and 29th. (I'm a virgo) but I've always been the semi sociable one out of the group. Many people often speak to me before talking to my other 4 friends. They say they are either mean, intimidating, unapproachable, or all of the above. (To me they are the easiest to talk to in existence.....and dorks.) but all that aside I have had 3 life experiences that brought their lively sides out but yet different. I had broke my thumb when I was younger and the 4 of them were there going bad cop and worse cop scolding everybody else who was around. The other 2 times were where I could have been in a confrontation but they all made this iron curtain of "back the hell off." These 3 events all showed me a more energetic, impulsive side that I never see on a normal day. Now it may sound like I'm a wimp but it's just the opposite. I've been boxing since I was 9 so I can handle myself. If anything, I felt like I would be the one to watch out for them. You may also think it's just common curtesy to help out someone who needs help (which it is) but I have seen them not help someone who is stuck in a pickle simply because "it's not their problem", but when I can't find my pen or pencil they all want to storm the heavens for one. I can't stand when they do stuff for me but they do it regardless of how many times I say no. That being said I do the same to them. When any 1 of them get hurt or anything the other 3 usually give tough love. Individually the 4 of them can handle themselves but when we all get together it's like they feed off each other. I don't feel left out but it's a strange sight to see 4 people who are so stern and serious show a more different side when around me. Do any of you capricorns out there have a friend who you feel like you protect— But you don't really say it to them? If so then I would love to hear!

i'm a dec 23 capricorn and I operate on extremes. you either don't exist to me or i will do anything for you, ESPECIALLY defend you.

All the props on the world go to ya! I wish I was a cap. You guys get it done.

Absolutely. It'll show up differently depending on the Cap, but it's still part of the package. And as you probably know by now, Caps are lifers :p

Some feel it is condescending, overbearing, etc. I find it's that we know you could...we're offering ourselves up anyway. Looking after things comes naturally.

You've captured the hypocrisy of what moves us as well, haha. You said it yourself - many sides to a goat. Even if the world will never know 😉

You guys are beyond lifers man hahaha! I tell them all the time that I will do anything for them (I'll take a bullet for all of them or separate bullet for each) but I always find it happening the complete opposite when stuff gets a little hot. But you are so correct about you guys protecting and not knowing. To the point where I pulled them aside once and asked them why they were babying me and acting like I'm weak and they ALL gave me that "wtf are you talking about face". Haha I don't know what I would do without you caps.

I also have a moon in aries and I feel the same way with trying to protect them but you guys take it to a level I'm still trying to reach. The 4 of them have the supreme older brother vibe especially the 23rd and the 25th caps. But you just brought up a very interesting trait. You feel that everyone needs your help and you assume the role.....I feel that as a virgo and we may go about that feeling differently but it's all going to equal the same result. For me at least, I feel that capricorns and virgos are 2 sides of the same coin. Both use common sense and practical with very similar tendencies towards hard work. Do they seem like twins to anybody else??

I can relate to everything you said rxcp. Yes, I am extremely loyal and protective of my best friends. I will move heaven and earth for someone I care about and I will always have their back. There ain't nuthin' like some good ole fashioned cap loyalty!

And, I can't tolerate anyone getting taken advantage of or mistreated. I've even had a stranger's back before.

Virgos and caps just mix. In high school, all my friends were virgos. You're very lucky to have these guys as friends, and they're lucky to have you.
