I think the could be compatible, but there are a lot of differences and frustrations.

In my experience, emotions are displayed physically. There is little to no communication in my situation. He won't verbally express his thoughts or feelings or say if he misses me, and I won't verbally express mine. Its not done on purpose, it's just that we've both completely shut down when it comes to verbal expression. We are very limited in general when it comes to communication, which is frustrating and allows for a lot of freedom and absence because as of now, we are only surviving off of feelings(some deeply buried) and affection. In my situation, the only way we can express what we feel is through touch. If I haven't seen him in days/weeks and he walks in, and we hug that's when I'm able to tell that he missed me, and I'm able to express that I've missed him...only through touch can I show him my feelings. Our hugs last forever, and sometimes we'll stand there and have our conversation while we are hugging. It's kind of sad in a way, because it's like a severe blockage, withdrawal and denial in some areas which makes us darn near melt into eachother. I can't help but feel he's getting his voids filled elsewhere.

For the Cap female, he will embody darn near everything you ever wanted in a guy. It's like your dream man. It's just sad when you feel you can't reach the potential...

So, that's why it's hard to say if we are compatible or not. I think he had a very similar experience with his Cap ex. They ended their relationship by a complete verbal shutdown.

That describes my Capricorn descendant...and I am like that. And i am a fixed Taurus female that does work and forget life outside.. and I am a home body...so I need some amusement in life....but too much excitement makes me nervous but too little excitement makes me bored...I'm emotional detached but deep down I want the acknowledgements of emotions..

See, it's that confusion with my Taurus. I'm naturally a bit withdrawn myself...I don't "need" a lot of attention, but I do want it from him, but he is so detached, and don't "need" the attention either. When I think he wants at-least a little something from me, I'll reach out, and he'll shut me down, so I withdraw and go silent, and that's when I think he starts to build a little resentment. He'll say that he wants me to be more confident, but that's not possible if I always feel he shuts me down. I'll get to points where I don't know what to do, so I don't do anything....and it'll go on for weeks, although it wasn't always like this. We are managing to stretch the length of time we can go without talking. It use to be every other day, then few days, then once a week, now we haven't have a real convo in three weeks..

He has an Aqua moon and Gemini venus, and Cancer mars. Oh, I believe he is getting his entertainment elsewhere, which is cool because he never promised me anything. I just don't want there to be any negative feelings towards me, which I think there are, but I don't really understand why.

Well I am a Taurus with Aquarius moon and Mars in Taurus.. I see where he is detached...like myself..space and space and come back later..Aquarius tend be aloof, detached, fun loving, conversationalist, but will always throw in some emotions due to my Taurus trifleca...

Oh that Venus in Gemini..oh and Aquarius moon. Damn

But:

Look to Moon for emotions

Look to Venus for love

Look to Mars for sex

and overall Venus/Mars compatibility

Might as well take into consideration Merc too as without compatible communication style s you're fucked!
