the passion

so are any of you, or have any of you seen our fellow capi's movie "the passion"? talking of mel gibson, of course. what are your thoughts? another capricorn being controversial. we are so noted for that.

now howard stern (another fellow capi) is being taken off the air. what's up with that? also this government (bush) is giving me the creeps. he has no business in the matters of the heart (meaning same sex marriage). it's just a way he can use his power to control the people. it's so f---ed up. he's gotta go!

Unfortunately pato so many people use their power to control others (if people let them). I have seen this with so many people lately and it really unerves me...I have a "friend" who uses his power or what he thinks is his power to "try" to control. My sense is this comes from a lack of self esteem, self confidence—?? I know we each have our own personal power but it is up to each one of us as how we choose to use that power and for what reason.

Frustrating isn't it pato...what is one to do? is there any help out there——

yes love does and will find a way.. i just feel like grabbing bush and saying LOOK, YOU'RE NOT GOD....you can't change this. i really have a problem with people who have to have a cause in their life, especially something that really doesn't effect them...like pro-lifers. hey folks..this is my body, not yours, hands off. i can't stand those people who picket for pro-life....well folks..put your money where your mouths are. if you don't want abortion then feed those kids, put them through school, pay their medical bills, shelter them, clothe them, and really love them...not just words....f 'em, those do gooders, those self rightous people. all talk, just to make themselves feel better. and ya know, i would tell bush,love is love, we can't decide where it comes from and when it comes. we should all be thankful that there is some love left in this world. bush would rather kill teenagers in a war, then let a same sex couple, live, wed and love together. f--- him. yeah, no abortion so there would be enough kids to fight for this country..that's probably his plan. what an a-hole. i obviously don't feel good about what can happen until he's out of there. i need to hear what y'all think about this. it's been so quiet around here. someone open up. james, where the hell are ya? i think i needed that vent.

My five cents: There are busybodys/bushes in every country. The problem is that we DO elect them to office.
Why? Do we want them to be in charge of the run of our common affairs as our democratic states need? Or do we elect them to tell us who to wed and/or love - or just what we should have for dinner tonight?
Pato, guess you have got you an european "concentor",this state of affairs isn?t confined to the US of A, it is happening all over the western world - our leaders are getting fat, lazy and prejudiced.
Remedy?
Perhaps a very serious and bloody World War III...

I don't like that solution. I'm one of those teenagers born to a young mother that didn't abort and I ended up growing up. Well, somewhat...but hey, I've made it to 19 and I don't want to give up anything more that might come to a guy named after my pubic hairs.

What I meant to say was that I was brought up and taught not to fight. WWIII could complicate that somewhat...especially with Bush at the head of our side. I'm not into carrying a gun and walking in the desert. Or in Afghanistan. I ain't no fortunate son!

I am also very much pro-choice. butter happens. That doesn't mean, though, that there aren't always going to be people that are uncomfortable with sexuality and have to protest same sex sexuality or the right to NOT have a child if a sexual 'incident' occurs.
