This is my eldest daughter's natal chart wheel. I can see that she has some very unique aspects in it, however, I wish to get some further expertise on it, if someone may be willing to assist me. I see that she is just at the Gemini/Taurus Cusp, but the poor girl has 7 objects in retrograde. She turned 18 recently and, well, she is literally moving through every aspect of her life, backwards. Would someone be kind enough to lend me their expertise? I'm having a hard time connecting with her and I'm hoping I can find a way in here.
First off, the main retrogrades that should have your concern are the mercury and venus ones. The rest are outer planets so her gen will be dealing with all that, not just her. She has Moon Square Mercury. So communicating her feelings shows to be difficult already, her retro Merc making her take think and examine her thoughts internally and intensely. Merc in Taurus slows her Gemini Sun down a bit and when she finally does communicate, it must come off pretty strong considering her Merc/Mars conjunction.
Venus in Gemini is being slowed down by that sextile with Saturn. So she might be more serious and practical about love then someone else around her age. Might wanna keep an eye out for older dudes. ;P
Her Moon is in the 11th house, so doing group actives for a cause might get her to open up and reveal more self emotionally. Her Mercury is in 9th house, does she like to read about travel, philosophy or even fantasy/adventure type books?
Venus in 9th: The person recognizes beauty in everything foreign, and all that is greater out there, the person often makes an excellent diplomat, mediator, and does particularly well in studies abroad bringing people together from different cultures. It usually represents a pleasant attitude to philosophical matters. Sometimes the college years are enjoyable, lots of enjoyment at university, and many teachers are loved by the individual.
