thoughts on this?

Hello people. It is officially 2018 in Florida. It feels good to be here, everybody. It feels good.

I am a beginning astrology enthusiast, even if only for the sake of self-reflection and how I can evolve into a better, more understanding human. I have come here today to probe your minds about a facet in my chart that I noticed. Perhaps you may have some enlightening thoughts in your astrological mind to share with me about it. I'd even appreciate you telling me what you think it might mean about me just for the fun of it and I might just tell you how you did. The more specific, the more fascinated or horrified I will be 😉

So.

I noticed that I have Mars (in Virgo) in my 9th house, which I understand is ruled by Sagittarius. This Mars squares Jupiter and my ascendant, which are both in Sagittarius. I just thought it was interesting since squares are about "tension", "conflict", and so on, yet this Mars placement is also in the Sagittarius-ruled house.
