We are exactly as they describe; he loves to be outside, staying active, meeting people, etc. and I'm the exact opposite. I'm usually okay with giving him as much freedom as I possibly can, but it all depends on whether or not he's considering my feelings as well, and not taking advantage of that freedom. Sometimes I'm not sure he realizes that it isn't easy for me to have to do that, but I'm trying to be less clingy (which I think is probably good for me) and I love all of the affection he gives me when we are fine. Though I fully expect him to buckle down on MY behalf in return.
We went to the same college - I dropped out and he graduated - and now that he has, he's going back to be near his family and work out there, which is about an hour away from where I am now. I don't have a problem with that, but so far I've had to go 5 days without any sort of contact (he's almost never online, and he lost his phone about 2 weeks ago) and he made a promise that he would still come out to spend a night alone with me once a week. So far, I'm not sure he's gonna keep that promise. And I'm getting ready to rip his head off as tomorrow is his last chance to do that (I have work Monday morning, so he can't stay over Sunday and knows that.)
What should I do? I'm so irritated and already a little heartbroken because I want him to be as fair with me as I try to be with him - I want him to notice what I'm doing and give me the same respect.
