Searching for meaning between real life and Dream

In the waking world I have a boyfriend who is a blues/gospel/jazz musician he works with and has worked with several famous blues singers. He pursued me for two years before I gave in and became his ?woman?.
He is a Leo and I am a Cancer.
He is 30 and I am 42
He has a son 10, I have no children
I am divorced 10 years, he has never been married
He is a full time musician I sing but it is not my profession or ?day job?
The relationship has progressed very nicely and after only three months of being a couple, he has met my family and I have just met his parents. It went very well. I love him very much.

Last night I had a dream about him. The first one I ever had. It took place in the 40?s big band swing era. He was a swing bandleader. I loved him but had doubts about his love for me. One day he told me that he was going on tour. I was worried cause I feared that I would not see him for a long time. He assured me that he would be back in a blink of an eye. Well he did not come back for three years nor did I hear from him. During that time I gave birth to his son, married another man and became a singing star in my own right. He had heard that I had his child and made a name for myself as a singer. He paid a visit to my house and upon knocking at the door was pleasantly surprised to see a little boy answer the door, I recall the joy in his face when he realized that this little boy resembled him. My maid then took over the door and led him to the kitchen where I was. I remember I was dressed nicely ala Patti LaBelle when she performs. He asked me if the little boy was his son. I said angrily ?If you mean did you donate the sperm then YES, but if you mean will you OR are you ever gonna participate in his life or let him know that you are his biological father then the answer is NO.? I was angry because he had abandoned me then shows up on my doorstep after three years asking about his son.

After that I woke up.
