Short and Sweet version - It was my own wedding... to my best guy friend (whom yes, I have feelings for). I had about an hour to prepare. Somehow I had the gown (white go figure). My mother, as the mom she has always been, was in full control. I know his mom is the same to a point. The only two things I could think of is 1. eloping would be easier and less stressful and 2. him agreeing to it without kicking and screaming seeing that he's verbal about not being into the whole marriage idea. I couldn't recall a proposal even. No church but everyone was crammed into my parents back yard. He came through the crowd a few times looking very charming in his tux but seemed very tired and worn out. I kept trying to make my way over to him so we could both run away fast. I do remember asking someone how he felt about the whole thing and was told he said something along the lines of "if that's what people say we should do..." This is totally out of character for him even in my dreams. I definitely know I have mother issues, it's a given LOL but the rest really confuses me.
