Have you ever coloured your hair using Henna?

You know the temporary tattoos the indian girls get on their hands at weddings? Well I was as the Arab store getting nuts the other day and saw a box that looked like hair dye but it said henna on the packet and I was like "hmmmnn what a novel idea"

Then I went on youtube and found a tutorial on how to apply Lush henna

My hair felt stronger and the red was devine.
It won't really show on Black hair until you stand in the sun and you see a slight reddish tint.

Well I'm definitely sold on using henna I never knew it was so popular??_??_..I think it would be good for a person who likes to perm or chemically straighten their hair because of the non chemical factor.

My boyfriend bought this for me and my mom...hair feels really lovely!
But much pricier/better quality than the other hennas
Didn't notice any color on my black hair like you mentioned...

This one seems to show "some" color on my black hair. It makes my black hair look slightly metallic because of the golden hue. I am not sure about the quality (it is dirt cheap..2 dollars for a huge box at Indian grocery store). I pick the one that says "gives golden hue". Got a lot of compliments using this because it looks metallicy and shiny.
