I still need to get that. I only have Sims 1 with some expansions and Sims 2 for PC. Anyway, I saw the Splinter Cell: Conviction and Assassin's Creed 2 trailers. They both look amazing. Ubisoft is going for something different for the Splinter Cell series--something a bit more theatrical and perhaps more intense. Instead of the protagonist, Sam Fisher, chasing bad guys it's the good guys chasing what they believe is a bad guy; which according to them is Sam. There's also another game that may or may not have come out yet. The name escapes me, but it's set after a devastating earthquake. It's basically like a survival horror game, but without the horribly disfigured monsters like in Silent Hill.

tomb raider is shit the movement is unrealistic and bitty and gran turismo is just plain boring, i hate your taste 🙂

Well AA, i hate your (gaming) attitude, fwiw..🙂 ..don't be so quick to judge, your opinions are just that.

GT is FAR from boring, imo & that's ALL that counts for me and millions of others & TRA is a much older game-originally released in 1996, so what can you possibly expect, 2009 movement?? I would think even the most inexperienced gamer would know that. Many gamers ARE sentimental and can appreciate where gaming came from; past, present & future. Not to mention, i own 100's of titles on most systems, including ALL genres-aka, the one's you're looking forward to, all handhelds + a gaming pc, so obviously* these are not the only 2 games in my world..lol me thinks you could learn alot.

Yeah, there was nothing like the 1st Tomb Raider, that's why i looked forward to the Anniversay version. 🙂 i know many sequel games arn't that great either. Crash Bandicoot, for instance is no longer created by *naughty dog*..lol

"..play games for their story then just discard it 2 weeks later or less (because that's how long most games take to complete) this is a good way to waste money and it's just not sustainable anymore, when i was kid this was fine but now i crave a more hardcore SATISFYING gaming experience. dead rising 2 is just afun game that will tbh last me a couple weeks again unless the online is something spectacular."

I totally agree with you there, AA ..i am just as much a sentimental collector and choose a variety of games that really entertain me AND have lasting value that you can play over and over again. If it's not fun for me first, i won't play it because a million others do. It's taken years and many of my games are older and were carefully chosen. Many of these same games were some of the best too; take the now rarer, harder to find Skull Monkeys, for instance. It's in full claymation, fun and visually stunning, one of the best platform side-scrollers i've ever seen, lots of parallax layering. My biggest gaming *love* though is the mystery/adventure/investigative/semi-action genre. I need a good plot i can sink my teeth into. The first Max Payne & Jack The Ripper for the pc, i found the environments and ambience incredibly, hypnotic, pulling you further and further in. I like my games on the mysterious or scary side..lol I also greatly enjoy the RE and Silent Hill series, too. Reminds me, i still have to go back & finish off alot of my games..lol i'm must say, i'm not into the mindless action shooters either, though i did try Quake online a long time ago..LOL I can also enjoy a decent war game when i'm in the mood; Wolfenstein or Project IGI comes to mind..

..i may have to take a looksee at those ED-rising games, btw. I guess alot of gaming is what you're actually in the mood for at any given moment, as well. =) ..anyway, good gaming.
