Favorite RPG Titles

What's your favorite RPG titles of all time? I love Faxanadu, the Zelda series up to Majora's Mask, Landstalker, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy VI, VII, and X.

Man...FF VII...that game hit me hard when that came out

Aw, shit, bigD's back.....and yours truly....

most importantly, Yes, I concur with all the titles that BigD suggested....MINUS FFIX it's cool in it's own right, but left me feeling like I need MORE....in it's stead, FFVIII and FFX....I liked XII, but it's too detatched from the FF philosophy in my opinion.....But yes, Squall is THE man....Nevermind the fact that he's a Virgo.....lol

I liked the Xenosaga games as well...Lost Odyssey is pretty good trying to get into it story line wise but I'm just bein' lazy....rather write my own story....btw, I'm HELL-BENT on making it a reality BigD....IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN....just a matter of time...

FINAL FANTASY! Crisis core. I stood in line for over 7 hours for this game, an this was befor I even had a PSP. They were having the U.S. Release party in S.F. at the Metrion. It was okay. I got a ShinRa ID made with my pic and ShinrA name, Code Name: Howler, on it. And their were crazy fun people there. I was even in a few pics.

Final Fantasy VI for me. (FF III officially in the US)

Locke + Celes and the Opera House will be one of my favorite encounters until the day I die.

Planescape Torment is the all time king for me. My second choice would be Xenogears - I loved the giant mecha aspect.

the first RPG game I played was legend of dragoon and i didnt have a memory card to save it.....I would play it till i died and kept playing it to the third disc....every time i died i would nearly cry....id be up for 2 days at a time playing it

atm the place im living at has N64 and Im playing the first zelda game ocarina of time and then im gonna play majoras mask after it cos Ive never played it before except for wind waker on gamecube which I liked...

my favourite RPG would have to be final fantasy because I played the demo of it once and it was the newer one after final fantasy after cloud and it had all the cool summons....I didnt even know what i was doing and i was summoning and I was listening to prodigy in the background and it was awesome i was like wow

Definitely planescape. Darklands was also pretty good, for an ancient game. Bg2 also deserves a mention.

I had FF VII when I was little but I didn't have a memory card so I never got very far from the beginning. It was like playing a demo all the time. 😢

Do Pokemon games count as RPG? If so, then Pokemon Blue and Silver were my favorites.

I never really got into rpg until my teen years.

peons! dungeons n dragons......pfffttt! ..joking there.. final fantasy 7 to 12. chrono cross.... the ONLy rpg i can say beat final fantasy in story and gameplay.

Fallout, most def! Legend of Zelda, Deus Ex, Wasteland, Final Fantasy, Elder Scrolls.
