Choosing Who To Be With

Ok. Here's a dilemma that I have been going through since forever. I do understand that I am a gemini. I love 2 things from everything. I friggin by 2 colors of the same clothing style . I find the good behind the bad. But as well, having said those, I am having a hard time deciding who to be with. That includes friends and suitors.

So, I'm not sure if I am the only gemini/person going through this but please share your insights! Would love to hear from you. I am in the process of self-discovery. I am learning about myself everyday. Sometimes I learn good things and sometimes bad. Ugh.

I am the same!!! I feel bad sometimes for not knowing exactly what I want but our personality makes up for our indecisive personality 😛

I think self discovery is crucial. It applies to any sign. It just depends on the personality flaw of that particular sign. But for Gemini's like myself who are at constant war in the mind, self discovery is especially important. It is hard to put into words although my mind spells it out perfectly; but I am going to give it a try. I think we get so caught up in the decision making process because every possible decision we think of makes perfect sense and horrible sense-all at the same time! Then add all the outcomes on top of that.....it's maddening!!! But we forget to notice how crazy it makes us and we get off track and overwhelmed. So I thought about it, excessively of course, and came to understand that this is just the way I am. So every time I flip flop or obsess over anything, I recognize that I am doing this and I stop right away. A decision is a freakin decision. It isn't going to be the right one all the time.....only in a perfect world. Since we do not like to be outdone or outsmarted, especially by our own doing; I figure the way to stop obsessing over a decision is to KNOW and verbalize that it may not be right one and why. At least we knew that beforehand right? It basically boils down to the fact that we would HATE to make a decision and be blind-sided by the outcome. What a slap in the face that would be.....how dumb we would feel. As crazy as it seems, it does make perfect sense.....at least maybe to the Gemini. But again, self discovery is what all of this is about.

Well I'm not a gemini, but one of my best friends is and I remember there was a time when he had like one relationship after another. He had lots of girls chasing him, but he couldn't make up his mind. And at that time I thought he'd never have a stable relationship. Then totally out of the blue he hooked up with this girl he had always rejected. And they've been together for over 4 years now.
Anyway I do think you should keep on discovering yourself, I mean I've been doing it for a while now and it helped me alot.

@missgemini89: glad to know I'm not the only one! Lol. Well, it's for most things/people in my life. My lovelife's a mess because I like them all but not totally. Like if I can pick some traits of one guy and put it to the other then I guess, I will have my prefect partner! But it's not like that and I cannnot decide what I can live with or without.

For friends too. I cannot just ditch a friend even if he/she did me wrong because I always revert to: well, she did this but also, I like this about her.

@sky1: I understand what you mean. So like, don't focus on self-discovery too much and instead, let things flow naturally and eventually, I will understand myself. I do like your idea about doing something good. In fact, I have been doing this weird thing for years now. Every payday, I pay an extra 2 pennies on stores/cabs/restos the entire day. I always feel like I was donating to random people. Not that I have so much money but hey, those 2 pennies are part of what I worked hard for. And I am leaving it to fate on how those 2 pennies can help those people in that entire day.

@Geminthesun: I agree with everything that you said. I am actually at that point when I want to understand myself a bit more. I think that will help me accomlish more great things! If only I am committing to one full decision. I just feel that sometimes, I could have done so much better if there wasn't a battle between my 2 selves.

Oh my. I am afraid I might get that kind of karma. I don't like this guy but he is there for me all the time. The times I was waiting on someone to change his mind, message me or something, he was there. I was thinking what if, I am just being the usual blind person that I am and ignoring the signs.

I'm aqua and really like and enjoy a long time gemini male friend of mine...when he's off and on with his ex-cancer girlfriend, he'll contact me, meaning it could be every two weeks, every four months. We always have a great time together and since being that we don't see each other all the time while he and his off and on girlfriend start talking again, so I don't do the chase game since being we don't get together that often.
I give him his space and freedom of course when we are back to communicating, we will text off and on then I will notice a pattern in him when he starts getting slow in his texts to me or he doesn't text me at all, I can see and sense the signs the his crazy ex-girlfriend and him are talking.
I have my own life, do my own thing and not ever clingy with my gemini male friend - but I know I've falling for the guy even though we are not suppose to get emotional, even though he did get emotional with me in 2011.
