Do you geminis have a problem with authority?

I can't stand being told what to do such as at my job. Do you have the same feeling?

If you really want the truth, I'd actually say most Geminis don't really have a problem with authority. I think in part, it's because they aren't really aware that there is any! LOL.

Everybody has a boss! Do what you're told! They obviously don't pay you to think, so do what you are suppose to and let the ones that are do their job. Not trying to get on you, but you will learn the hard way if you want to go up against the big dogs!!!!!!!!!!

Jobs are a little hard to come by for alot of people these day. You should be glad you have one!!!!!!!

Good for you Twinkie! I found it helps in those situations to explore the two-faced characteristic gemini's are renowned for ie. smile on the outside...plot a coup d'etat on the inside.

Nobody does! LOL especially when you know more than the moron in charge telling you what to do! I have learned though, if they want me to type backward and it makes no sense, then that is what I will do. It is there a** not mine!!! Kind of hard to do when you take pride in your work. But pride doesn't pay my bills!!! If it is something illegal or immoral then that is a different story! I will go to the mat then!!!

People really suck sometimes! I hate working for dips**ts! it always seems like the biggest idiots, who couldn't walk through a door without hitting their head, is always in charge! Why is that? Somebody knows someone or it's someone's relative who got the job and doesn't know squat and you have to work for this dips**T!!! God, life! I am still trying to figure it out, and I never will! LOL! At a very young age, I managed a convenience store...

After I became a nurse, I eventually became assistant director of nursing and then director....

I do not like the management structure and therefore no longer work work in management...but, rather as one who is managed!! LOL!

True...there are bosses who suck...but, there are also those who come to realize that they are just a figurehead and unable to change corporate ideas!!

By the way, those who worked for me always knew my goals were 'for the people'...working conditions i.e. safety, reasonable workload, etc.

In nursing, of course, my goals included the patients...

Being a boss is tough and can be very frustrating...

Just a few thoughts from that side of the issue...

Yes! I have been both and a hated being in management! I think you with the hours required of you, working salary, and putting up with employees that don't want to work was more of a hassel than the extra money! I think I preffered being managed , at that job!
I was a buyer for a large home improvement chain!

Authority is everywhere! When I work, I work hard I am Gem W/ Taurus moon and scorpio ascendant. It can be extremely aggravating, I somehow always get taken advantage of in the work place, so I quietly resist in subtle ways but I always get the job done. I am going to be a teacher and have taught before, it's weird to be authoratative or take on that leadership role because its like who am I... the master of it all, I try to create a team and hope everyone wants to plat their part. I also HATE when people abuse authority or when someone 2 years older acts as if they are your elder...that is quite ridiculous!
