Geminis enjoy a variety of interests. They are usually very curious and open minded. Gemini likes different people, places, things and experiences. This makes them very versatile people. Gemini likes the smorgasbord of life. A little of this, a little of that. They want to try and taste it all. Can you see why they've earned the reputation for being so changeable? This not to say that a Gemini will never master anything. They will. But, the rest of us can only wonder how they find the time to get their fingers into so many different pies. It's because Gemini has a low loyalty quotient for anything they've already tried. If they took everything to great depth, this would narrow the playing field too much.

As an Air sign Gemini is not cut out for the heavy side of life. Others view this trait as too fickle; their worst trait. Gemini is also capable of more than one so-called "loyalty".
Gemini is expressive and clever. Gemini loves to share any new found knowledge. Gemini can become easily bored if things become too routine. They get restless if there is nothing new to stimulate their mind. If a project is seen as too boring they have hard time disciplining themselves to finish it. They thrive on change and they need lots of mental cookies to chew on.

Gemini energy can be likened to that of a chameleon in some respects. They can change colors depending on what the occasion calls for. A neat talent, really. Their wide variety of experiences allows them to be able to identify with several different viewpoints. They actually understand the Buddhist because they tried meditation once. They can really relate to the Hindu because they didn't eat meat for a whole week. See how this works? This is the famous Gemini dual nature playing itself out. Gemini teaches us to open our minds and explore the world around us-ever searching for new knowledge and experiences.

I personally think it would depend on the civilization Geminis live in - the US is Geminian North America is Geminian its second nature, poor Geminis that live in theocratic civilizations like Iraq and Saudi Arabia are the ones that might be the stifled ones.
