Have you ever been in a fight?

I myself am pretty strong from sprts as a youngin.... But I havenever been involved in a fist fight. I have been tried by many a hoe back in school and always wondered wtf their problem was for trying me. Still, I've never been put in a position for fighting.

yes i have. it's been a long time since i've gotten into a fist fight tho. i can honestly say that i don't like fist fights but would prefer to challenge you to a wrestling match just to see who's more athletic and stronger since i have weight and strength to my advantage. above all.... i try my best to avoid getting in situations like that by ignoring or talking to him by asking him nicely, "whats your problem, dude?"but if all fails, and if i have no choice, i will fight if need be.

Ditto, I love wrestling. So I can throw you around like a rag doll haha. The main thing is I don't ever want to get punched in the face....I've been head butted in baskettball and I didn't even bleed but for some reason being punched scares me....like then I will have to raise the white flag because my eye is swelling up and a nerve has busted :p

Hell yeah! In fact, me and my family and friends do roughhousing as a tradition. So technically we are always kicking each others asses. I usually kick the most ass, but uncle and my Sagittarius cousin keep whooping mines. But in the end, we still all love each other even though we probably broke each others noses and gave someone a black eye. But I do it just so in case I do get into a fight my skills won't be rusty.

No, I've never been in a fight! Do grown people do that? Personally I find fighting distasteful & I don't even entertain people that want to settle disputes with a fight. It's ridiculous. What if I lose a lash? LOL!

I got into many fights in HS. Never started one, never ran from one.

I was never good at it so I got my ass owned a lot.

I haven't had a physical confrontation in years, but I also haven't been out of high school for very long.
The few I've been in typically involved only one blow (from me) after finally losing my temper--I have a firecracker temper sometimes so apparently one hit was all I needed to feel better. Though now that I think about it, most of them involved me defending someone else or being offended in place of someone else...LOL.
And of course I scrapped with my siblings all the time when I was little, but I'm not so sure that counts.
I've definitely improved with the whole "using my words" thing, anyway, so that's something.

My poor sister had to fight me a few times because I felt she disrespected me when she cussed in my face....she's older too....I sorry hays!!!

I don't know if sibling rivalry counts, but that's about the extent of fighting for me. As an adult.... I have better things to do. 🙂

Hey MissLisa. Glad you're back 🙂 +1 on have better things to do. Fighting has so many disadvantages..you may end up looking like Chucky, all stitched up. Maybe I'm too vain, I just don't like marks & scars on me. I have a faded mark on my face caused by an egg white, it aggressively jumped from the pan to my face 😢 I'm still not over that. I can't imagine my reaction if I was "marked" by another person, that would freak me out for dear life.

I argue a lot, but luckily, the people I argue with are civil & not hoodlums. Disputes are settled like adults, by talking. I'm not a kung-fu super star, nor am I filming any action movie, so why would I want to fight? Go fight your shadow! LOL!

I have a friend that was bitten on the mouth during a fight, she was bitten so bad that now she looks like she is pouting even when she isn't. LOL! The condition of her mouth is making her very insecure now. That's what you get for playing "Warrior Princess".

My mom used to tell me one thing "The family of the brave mourns/cries while the family of the coward celebrates/laughs"...I took that to heart. I'm not a coward by any means, but you'd have to pay me or do something really drastic to get me to fight. How do I settle an issue with a bobbing & weaving maniac who thinks she's Laila Ali? I flip my hair & walk. Why entertain such idiocy?

I honestly have to say that I would worry about external damage, too, but more worried about internal damage!! I'm such a lil chick! Lol! I do agree with settling things like adults.... Trying to understand is so much better than "throwing down"! Besides, I've never seen a fight solve anything and makes both parties look foolish.... But, if I were to be in a situation where I had to defend myself.... Don't let my little-ness fool you. Lol!

With that said, having found myself in uncompromising positions where rape seemed eminent (first time @ 13 yoa, at the public pool), I have come to learn how to swing a fist!
