Heya - Im used to humid climate since im from asia, where its hot and wet all the year round. Now however in UK, my skin gets really red,dry and itchy - it drives me crazy. i used aqueous cream but most of the time the relief is only for a short short while. advice anyone...preferably something affordable=)
agree with oils... the more natural the better ! extra virgin olive oil contains loads of vitamin e. or pure vitamin e from drugstores... or bio-oil from boots... you wanna slather it on very generously --- shea butter is good too ! have similar probs with uk winter...and the asian harsh weathers... the oils worked wonders and lets your skin breathe... vaseline or baby oils are ok for quick fixes but clogges up your pores so in the long run not so great ... sorry for blabbering ! hope that helps 🙂
I have lived in New York City all my life and I still can't get use the the brutal winters. I get the same problem so I use my daughter's baby lotion LOL
ScorpSuperior , i used to have eczema so im familiar with aqueous cream. I thought this time around my dry skin isnt connected to eczema, nonetheless i just used it to help my dehydrated skin. but now its a bit ok, i managed to control it with a cream i had my parents sent me, from my gp.
