Need to incorporate away to edit our posts!!

I TOTALLY AGREE WE SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO EDIT OUR OWN POST. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL IF WE HAD RIGHTS TO OUR OWN POSTINGS OR A CLEAR METHOD OF ERASING POSTS IF NEEDED.

i completely agree; that makes 3 of us who want to be able to edit our own posts. i also think dxp should delete multiple postings, even though i know people don't do it on purpose most of the time, it's annoying because it bumps down all the other discussion. eliminate accidental repeat posts please.

i also belive everyone should have to log in in order to post. it would make things a lot less confusing : )

i'm not sure if/when users will be able to edit their own posts. i don't know if the work involved (on this end) would make it worth it. but, if enough people want it, it may happen sooner than later.

i'll try and do a better job of delete multiple posts. i'm putting together something that would help stop that from happening.

and i think everyone should have to login before they can post. definately. it will probably happen in the next month or so. just hope logging in doesn't scare everyone away from posting.

actually i think you are doing an awesome job overall--keep up the good work. i really appreciate also that you take the time to communicate back with us on these things. i for one really like the updates and the info about what's coming/when.

oh and about the logging in, i thought about that too. i thought of something though. perhaps there could be a way to make it so that on the news article msg boards as well as the astrology msg boards people would have to log in, but only on the misc. message boards, people could be anonymous when posting. the logic i'm using is that the misc. board is where all the controversial, raunchy/racy topics are. you know what i mean? just a suggestion.

also another little glitch i'm noticing is that capital letters don't seem to be capital letters when a post gets posted...minor prob i know, but just wasn't sure if that's like, the new cool message board style or what...lol : )

thanks for the suggestion about the logging on. it's probably going to be required across the all the boards. it'll just be easier that way. nothing is final yet, but hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

and thanks for the heads up about the problem with capital letters. it wasn't supposed to be that way. oops 🙂

Editing our own posts...what's the point...—

That's a bunch of bull put forward by people who have controll issues DXP. Don't give in to them...they are the ones who need this post just as it is so they are forced to think before just blasting any blab out of their mouths.

They just want to go back and edit out their hey up's...

Actually durrie, you're right, it is about control...where I'm coming from is not editing the content of my posts necessarily but fixing the damn spelling errors. I don't know, I would be happy with either a spell checker or an editing thingie. Either way, just so that my anal retentive need to post spelling corrections would not result in such a waste of space for everyone else...or maybe I should just invest in therapy or something...lol

Haha...phoenix my friend, I think it's your Scorp mind in it's overactiveness that needs calming down. You might just need to slow things down to prevent the spelling errors, it works for me...also read them before you post.

I have moon in Scorp which makes me kind of sceptic or paranoid as you know...this forces me to always read my post before submitting...not only does this sort the spelling but it gives me confidence in my presence on the board in that my posts are always what I mean to say.

As your name suggests...you are definatley a most great and powerful being on the rise...but when your spelling is bad I think it may be the phoenix_rushing instead...lol.
