Can you think with both your heart and logic?

I am a female Leo. I think with my heart 95% of the time. I am wondering if theres any way to think with both heart and logic as I feel it would help me to find a balance with my life. Being fellow Leos do you think its possible? If so how do you do it or how would you do it? Thanks!

Yes it's possible. I am sure there are Leos out there who excericise caution before leaping into anything. I do. I usually wait for that impulsive moment that is originated in my heart to pass. You know, the one that says I want it and I want it now. Because it always passes. And letting it pass allows logic to set in. For me at least.

Thanks! LOL Well im the same way. I want everything and I want it now!LOL I often feel like a two your old stamping my feet. You are definatly strong then. Did this take you awile to master? Its so hard for me to calm down and seperate from my emotion. I am very bad with this.

The next time you feel that way, just wait a little while. If you still feel the same after some time then go after it.

No, I've always been cautious. Initially with people. It stays like this for awhile. Then after some time, I am all heart. No matter what.

Is there a reason for the question, or is just for everything in general?

Thanks! Right now mostly everything in general. Just wanting to find a balance like I have said because alot of times jumping in quickly and not thinking has caused me alot of problems. My biggest areas I have a problem though with balancing the emotion and logic is with love and with finances. Its really good you are cautious with people. I trust right away most of the time and see the good in everyone. Tend to look through rose colored glasses. Its not that I would totally change that, just need a dose of reality thrown in too you know?

rhiannon you are so right... i do the same thing as well.... I just think that if i am not impulsive i miss out on the fun... I am more of "living the moment" type i think.... sometimes that works extremely well sometimes it is very dangerous.... It works very well with aries guys though.... they find this impulsiveness very attractive i think....
I was wondering though whether only the leo females are like that...or also the leo males... I never met a leo guy and i surely as hell want to meet one and see if we work well together... if both of us are impulsive and generous and open hearted wouldn't that mean that we will understand each other perfectly?

I'm extremely impulsive as well in most things. In terms of other things (like relationships), it depends with the kind of guy I'm with. With an f'ing Capricorn, you have to rationalize EVERYTHING and you can't afford to be impulsive which is good ::rolls eyes and emits a loud sigh:: :-)

I agree with you though. I'm quite impulsive but over the years have learned to chill out as it can have extremely negative impacts.

Great input guys! Undergrad.. I am opposite of you. I cannot go with an Aries male. They are too shallow the ones I have meet and only have one thing in mind. Sure I have a high sex drive, but geez these guys are just plan perverts too me. My best friend however is an Aries female and we get along great.

Now with the Leo male. Sighhh. Im learning through this board that alot of times with a sign a male and female are opposite on some levels. Anyways, I thought I found the love of my life 10 years ago. We even had the same birthdate. There was instant attraction and instant sparks. Circumstances got in the way and we drifted apart and lost contact for awhile. We got back together for a big about a year ago. The thing is I think Leos are very caught up in the now like you said and the romance and feelings and emotions and dramatics of it, so they often dont really look at the whole person. At least with me I have in the past more so than now have just worried about being with someone and being in love and shown affection and all that stuff. When we got together we found out we were too much alike. It was almost looking at a mirror(twin flames). Very scary, very intense. The good thing was that we learned alot about ourselves, the bad thing is that we wanted to kill eachother after the passion. So it was short lived. I think the Leo females tend to be more tom boyish at least from what I seen and the Leo males tend to be more whimps. He never took the initiatve with anything, expected the world to come to him, had to have the woman look like she did on the outside when she undressed, very controling, jelous, etc...and man was he anal!! I remember eating ice cream out of a glass instead of a bowl and he had a major fit about it. So we had a ton in common but at the same time there was things that I was not like and the combination of both drove me nuts. I think people have the myth that if you are the same sign or the same on every evel that its the ultimate experience/relationship. That you will be as one and happily ever after. I dont feel thats the case now. I use to thik that, but now I dont. I feel a good relationship you mesh, have differences, but compliment eachother as well. I guess if you asked yourself this question could you live with yourself as a lover everyday? If not then step away from a Leo guy or any other guy that is the same sign.

Oh another thing too. With me and the Leo male there was always a control issue with whos center of attention and whos in charge and for me that isnt working. Im always the center of attention and in charge lol.
