Getting back to people with commication

Leo's I love you guys And girls madly but it dawned on me this morning when I got to work this morning and asked my Leo colleague why he didn't respond to my message of Friday night saying I hoped he enjoys his birthday party that night, that in fact all the Leos I know are not very good at getting back to people, even some of their best friends. Sometimes I stress out on my Leo lover for 'disrespecting' me by ignoring my messages. And when I say sometimes, I mean like three times a year. Only after he seems to be making a habit of it. I remind his it's bad manners and rude. But not every time he doesn't get back to me. Sometimes after he hasn't responded to me for a while, he'll send me a random message apologizing for being so absent and quiet out of the blue, which I appreciate and leave it be. I just change the subject and speak about something else that entertains the both of us to ensure good vibes. I think he's figured that's my way of showing him I accept his apology with no hard feelings. No need to speak about it!
Even my female Leos aren't very good at getting back to me. Then one day I'll get random messages from them too telling me they miss me ( these are my Leo girls who live overseas) and give me a long mail with updates of their lives and asking me how I've been.

I dont take it personally (or rather, have learnt not to) and there's no bad vibes about the not getting back to me, but I was just wondering in general why is it so hard for you guys to send a "thanks" or "bit busy now, can't chat" back??
That's what I do (I'm Aries with a Leo moon)... It's only polite not to ignore people and show some manners, especially if someone is wishing you well or taking the time to show they care about you or are thinking about you...

Baffles me! Anyone care to try help the rest of us understand?

The response I got from my Leo colleague after I asked home why he never replied was "I dunno", with a bit of a smile on his dial! Like, ok!

i've just come back from a business trip with a leo guy i've known for many years and i asked him about this cos he is an absolute NIGHTMARE for getting back to me. if he says. 'i'll call you monday', i know it won't happen, lol.

he just said that the fact is, he's always mega busy and so he limits his communication to those people he has a need to speak to on any given day. in other words, if he's got something he wants to say to you, he'll say it but otherwise, you probably won't crop up in his mind, lol.

however, i've noticed that he gets all arsey if i'm not available or don't get back to HIM.

as long as you keep in mind with leo men that it's all about them, you'll understand their behaviour a little more. they'll still bend over backwards and move mountains to help people if they can...very generous with themselves...very giving and that in itself can be exhausting for the average man, lol.

Lol, I've and Aries besty-friend, sister in law, brother in law, business partner, ex-lover - they all fecking drive me around the bend with their propensity for not responding to messages as I am sure I do with them. Its just the way we fire signs roll, you've got to roll with it 🙂

it's funny when a leo encounters someone who does it also...they kinda get all stroppy with you about it....i can't help it if i'm busy though, lol....besides, it keeps them keen 😛

Lol, I've whipped out the phone with the offending unresponded to text message to underline my strop! I'm actually wondering where that ol Aries gal is now, not responding to her thread 🙂

That is so funny. My friends all say "why don't you ever answer your phone". They send me a text first that says " I am about to call you so answer your phone please". I never check voicemails, just send a text for heavan sakes.

hahaha!!! yeah, this happens to me too. i never answer a call if i don't recognise the number and if i do recognise it i sometimes don't answer too...depends what mood i'm in or if i'm busy cos i think it's rude to answer calls if you're not gonna concentrate on what they're telling you.

so they always send a text stating who they are and asking me to text them back when i'm available to talk.

and sometimes, those messages slip my mind too, LOL!!! i'm a complete nightmare on the communication front. ffs...just send a carrier pidgeon or chuck a message in a bottle into the med...it'll be easier, lol.

This is the most frustrating thing known to man, I try not to take it personally but good lord!!! Just say sorry busy or like the OP said, even a one word response is better than none at all.

I know it what Leo's do right... But everytime it happens (now with newest Leo lover) its still such a task to wrap my head around and stay chilled about it. Today's silence is driving me nuts!

Interestingly, I have no complaints about Leos - the ones I know reply promptly (unless they are indisposed to. The exceptions are Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, and Virgo -who are rather terrible at this.

My dad's a Leo and he explained communication like this:
If I get a text and it's something important, I reply straight away if it can't wait. If its not important and I'm busy I'll reply to them as soon as I can, but sometimes I forget because I'm so busy.

So basically, if it's important, they'll reply. If not... Don't hold ur breathe for any reply. I had go not reply from my Leo until I told him I was in hospital. Then he phoned me demanding to know why I'm in hospital. He asked if it had something to do with him ...lol... Like you know, because my entire world revolves around a Leo I met like a month ago!

I respond in a timely manner unless I'm busy... which I am a lot. I also refuse to call/text when driving. I have many irons in the fire and I am not always by my phone.

I don't know, I guess it's not a thing where I live. Pretty much everyone I know is the same way. We all like to work on some kind of project, cause, or what-have-you. We get passionate about our hobbies because they are more than that. We frequently get to spend time with each other working on said projects together. Or going to shows. That's an almost guaranteed one there.

Your Dads comment is spot on, I do exactly the same! It's nothing personal, we're just a bit sh1t like that 🙂
