I have embarked on a series of assessments of my friends. Altogether, there are twelve (I hadn't realized there were so many!), one of whom is a Lioness. This is more for me than it is for you, of course. Feel free to add as necessary.
Cons: Messy Bessie. Oh so messy. I can't stand it. She's like a boy, who likes boys.
Oh, and she's sort of...emotionally challenged.
Pros: This young lady is sooooo much fuuuuuuunnnnnn. A huge bundle of laughs. A teamplayer. Always reserves a soft spot for the less fortunate, and puts others before herself. There isn't a bad bone in her body. She's one of the few people I always know I can look to for encouragement.
She has big dreams, and despite her tremendous hardships, she's (slowly, but surely) making each one a reality. So glad to know her.
Hmm, I'm inclined to think that FF is right. I don't think that leos are aware of how they project themselves to others, good or bad. Also, I don't think that we're aware of how our actions can affect others as we tend to act on impulse and live in the 'now.' There are many leos I know (including myself) where something is said to a person and moments later, the leo will go back and apologize and repeat.
I think that people can view leos as being emotionally challenged (especially water signs) because we don't tend to dwell long enough on things to actually process any emotion out with other folks that need to hear what went wrong or why we did what we did. For example, an argument will occur. It's not out of the ordinary for the leo to get angry right then and there and then a few minutes later proclaim to the world "ok, I'm over it" and move on while the other person (especially a water or earth sign) will still ponder over the leo's actions and hold onto whatever anger and resentment they felt over the incident.
We think we're "feelers" and "lovers" simply because hey, we know what we feel whether the other person feels that it's projected accurately or not. When we love you, there's no one else on earth who is better than you. We're horribly loyal to a fault and sure, maybe we have our off days. Maybe you'll catch us on a bad day with a short fuse. Maybe sometimes we take it out on you. Sure we can be oblivious to others feelings and think about how we feel. It sucks but hey...I'm more of the mindset that the good outweighs the bad.
Based on personal experiences alone though, FF, I truly feel you. I was with a leo man for a long time and we simply were not compatible and this leo girl could not hang with the leo man. Not to bash the leo males but I know plenty of them (friends and family members). Wonderful folks that make the best of friends but we would be highly incompatible as anything more.
FF: I'm sorry you don't know "nice" Leo women. Personally, I don't have anything to do with what you say about them. Maybe they have a reason for being like that, I don't know...
I think we Leos are great friends. If you need a shoulder to cry, we give ours, listen to you, give advice and try to make you laugh (I always try to cheer up someone who is down). If you need a partner to your parties, oh yeah we are the first ones to go lol. So whenever you need, we are always there for you.
I understand you, you have bad experiences with Leos or the ones you know often show their bad side, so you doubt about the others, it's normal. It's the same for me with another sign.
"and i HATE that they cant give compliments when they feel they are being outshined or WHATEVER this LEO thing is."
We give compliments, we might feel like "the spotlight is ours not yours" to the person is "shining" in the momment, but we let him/her shine for a little lol.
A side note, my best friend is a Gemini too and her boyfriend is a Leo lol. In this case, 2 important ppl to her are Leos, it's one example. =)
""I had done one with 2 leos and they both were busy dueling ALL the time...""
haha dueling
I can just picture one walking up to the other, removing her glove and slapping him across the face with it, hereby challenging him to a duel. do or die, when the clock strikes dawn.

lmao...i probably shouldn't be laffin', cause i know that you're indirectly laffin' at me, but it's still funny.
