Leo's and Creative Outlets

How do you fellow Leo's express yourself creatively? And why do you think most of us feel the deep need (not just want) to express so much?

I'm a crochet artist and love to also play music (piano mostly). I crochet because I can create to give away. I love to make things specific to someones personality, something they cant buy anywhere, and something that no one else can make them - like a unique, one-time blend of their personality and mine 🙂 It also makes me incredibly happy to be able to make something they request, and to know that a part of me is with them when they wear it. I have no idea why I've always felt the need to express myself, perhaps it's so that I don't spontaneously combust from all this fire energy and need to get it out in some way, but I think deeper than that I just crave connection with other humans. I relate so much to creative peeps not because of their art, but because of what drives them to make it.
That being said, I dont think all art has to be tangible or even what most think of as "art". There are so many ways to be creative, lay them on me...

When younger I drew a lot of pictures and focused on art. Now I'm a musician. Still draw once in a while.

I read astrology. and read. and read.
very fulfilling

I sing in a choir and play piano.
Must say: they most rewarding activities in my life!
Every practice day is the greatest day of the week 😉

I don't have a creative bone in my body. It must be the Merc in Virg.

I have merc in virgo as well and im pretty creative... but my interest change every once in a while for something else... from writing to sewing to makeup artistry, to nail art... and when it changes i read a whole lot on the subject learn the techniques and stuff... changing interest is probably my gemini moon! but getting a bunch of infos and analyzing them is very mercury in virgo... but maybe you use your creativity for practical things like solving your friends problems or cooking...

I create subcultures.

I have Mercury in Virgo as well, but it must be that opposition with my North Node that gives me some creative outlet. My Merc trines natal Neptune as well.

As a kid I tried to write a book. LOL I also enjoyed my coloring books although, then I did not care so much about staying in the lines. I always loved to dance, but nothing professionally. Still do. However, I have had some rocky times and right now I am expressing myself in a blog. I don't think I realized that it was a need for self expression. I guess that would be the case. I am one of those Leos that do not need to be in the light, but honestly that might have to do with some insecurities in me.
