thx, my youngest son loved him (he's 6) my oldest (11) was a bit more stand-offish but older kids have a harder time adjusting - though he did ask if we were getting married... i'm nervous to meet his kids. He said his kids have asked questions about me but he has never told me what he's told them except that i'm his girlfriend - should i just ask him what he's said to them about me? I don't want to say anything "wrong" or contradictory to anything he's said.

yeah, i guess it's a great thing to meet his kids but still beware. i met the leo's kids and he also met my kids...he even painted my daughter's bedroom and fixed my son's skateboard....

but his ex still came back (not his kids' mother)....and i was history!!

the fact we both met eachothers' families is kind of bothering me now cos to me it represents someone inviting you into their very personal world and the fact i met them a few times and now haven't seen them for 8 months while being replaced with his ex is gonna make it very awkward for me if we do get back together.

it was an untimely introduction for both of us....just be conscious of that when you meet his kids. meet them as his friend for now so that you don't end up feeling a bit humiliated should everything go wrong after, like i did.

Thanks for the heads up - seeing as the last couple days have been off and not his normal behaviour towards me, I'm thinking that I might leave my kids out of the introduction. I haven't even spoken to him since yesterday and we're supposed to be meeting tomorrow so who knows. We were gonna pull our kids out of school and get them all together and go out and let our kids meet at park or something, but until I talk to him and get the feeling like all is right i'm thinking it's not gonna happen...

yeah...good thing...when in doubt, do nothing. you can't regret something you haven't done at least!
