I finally got my housing assignment for BU, and they stuck me in this little place at the far end of the campass... Actually it's on the other side of the highway from all the rest of the campass. I feel so cut off... I think it's all upperclassman housing to... And I'm in a single, no room mate... Which is actually a good thing, I don't have to worry about waking her up with my unusual sleeping habits. Of course... The single rooms are about the size of closets... OH well... So I'm going to be isolated... I have mixed feelings about that... At least I'm not going to be stuck in a triple, I would hate that...

Damn student accounting... How long does it take to process a friggin loan? It's the government's fault I'm sure... Stupid plus loans take sooo long, and I won't be officially registered until my accounts settled... And it has to be settled by next weak. But the guy I talked to in the fin aid office said that I shouldn't worry, as long as I have all my documents in by the deadline, which I do, then I won't be penalized, because it's now there problem that they work slow.

At least you can shagg in privat when I was at unviserty every one seemed to want to pass through at the most unopertune times.

I've been through this financial aid hell myself---put myself through college in fact. Yep, Finanacial Aid offices are slow as mollasses but the paper work is enormous for a university and imagine all that data input--from paper to computer. UUGGGG!

I'm not surprised at all that your dorm room is a hole in the wall--they always are with colleges--(well, okay, my school up the street offered spacious dorm rooms--I'll admit-we got lucky) Harvard's are also a joke--closet size.

The great news is that you got it all to yourself. You're gonna have a GREAT time at BU Morgon--you'll make new freinds, party a bit, explore a culturally rich city and possibly blitzed on any given Saturday night at the local pubs!! Jaya...Daisey's is a bar. Known for also being a hotspot for the Boston Red Sox. It's just a cozy place to go to, have adrink and meet people around your age. It is located on Newbury Street in the posh Back Bay area. Newbury Street has over the years become waaaay too trendy but, there are still some interesting restaurants and clothing stores there. If it's still in business--you will find THE COOLEST, HIPPEST shoe store on Newbury--called "John Fluvog shoes". Bring your credit card.

I went to Newbery street a couple of times... In my opinion, maybe I just didn't explore enough, it's rather expensive... And I think I saw the shoe store you're talking about. Although it was rather late at night and closed when I went by. Boston Red Sox... I don't know if I can get by with all the Red Sox fans... A bunch of my friends who are also going to Boston colleges and also happen to be yankies fans like me wanted to go to all the red sox vs yankies games all dressed up in our yankie fanalia... Just to annoy everyone. Although I was warned that I might get beat up... lol...
